Just doing a quick look at the new BRD stuff and this is the current focus list for me. With High Allagan Bow, you have 518 Acc with this set, not sure if we need that much but I basically ignored all the stuff with skill speed. It's possible, if we need to lower the accuracy, there might be slightly better items with skill speed instead of accuracy, like Allagan Wrists(19sks,13crit) over Auroral(19acc 13crit) but loooooooooool sks.

Order of best finished bows.

1. High Allagan Bow - 48Dmg, +45Dex, +32Det +32Acc
2. Rosenbogen - 46Dmg, +42Dex, +44Sks, +31Crit
3. Tidal Wave - 44Dmg, +37Dex, +40Crit, +28Acc

Would Melded Saurian Boots be BIS? x2 Crit IV, x2 DET IV, x1 ACC X ? vs allagan boots of aiming 15Crit 15DET

Is there some reason you're trying to out-do the allagan boots, of all things? Melded i90 gear will almost always be better than unmeldable i90 gear, if you happen to be particularly rich, so you could apply that same logic to all of your armor.

Here's i90 meld caps (caution: completely untested). http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post1859697 You probably won't be able to jam as much extra determination as your hypothetical boots suggest. It should only hold +4 Det.

Animus is not fully upgraded, but people can't read for shit. They have said this is just the start of the upgrade path and it will keep getting better but yes, the current top tier for it, is bad compared to the new bows.

Just fyi, you need Acc for Levi Ex, I just missed a few times @462, @472 I seem to be fine though. (Missed a TON, with normal Ex gear @408, lol)

I'm be buying the waist first because it's a straight upgrade and I can get it this week. I need my acc too much right now to allow the acc loss from the body. Then I'll probably cry as I buy the ear/ring/wrist for the higher dex, higher acc, less crit, less vit. After that the body.

I'm personally gonna wait at least until next week. The Belt is nice and the Accessories will help add stats to wrists/neck with Accuracy(using Hero's for T6) but the Body+Zenith Bow might be a good option and I think that will be my first upgrade. I would also like to upgrade my VIT because the new fights toss out quite a bit of damage in short spurts.

Yeah that's a solid plan. With allagan pants, zenith bow, and hq cabbage accuracy shouldn't be a big deal until T7. I'll probably go tabard -> wrists.

I feel your pain. Bard boots took easily 35+ runs to drop, I'm not even joking. Got super lucky with pants on the first try though. Boots made me wanna rip my hair out though. Hang in there. No luck with allagan bow for me however it's somewhat obsolete these days anyway.
