My best advice is to take advantage of the 200% bonus on turn ins for levequests and ride the level 15 and 20 quests for large experience amounts to skip velveteen as much as possible. I haven't checked on prices for flax for linen products yet (the 30s), but those aren't easy to skip cause the experience from the lower levels starts to not be enough to get a level in a reasonable amount of time, velveteen items are expensive, and flax is from gathering only so you can't just farm mobs for it.

I'd rather gather. My BTN is level 20 anyway. That's how I got through Weaver up to now. I had an incredible abundance of NQ and HQ Moko Grass as well as Cotton Bolls.

This is a really minor thing to nitpick for what is essentially just a giant throwback, but is there a functional purpose for the "jawbone" below the cannon on the Magitek armor? It seems kind of superfluous design-wise. The wings too for that matter.

Other than being just a big homage to Amano, they showed the "jawbone" thing open up allow the cannon inside to fire in the End of an Era cinematics. You could say it protects the cannon... That's about it~

Just had a true full clear ampador keep run. I must say, I'm glad there is the sac pull method. The longest 75 minutes of my life.

They had a maintenance during the game that took 5 minutes, but not sure if you were queuing during that or not.

On another note, I absolutely can't tolerate playing with tanks (as a MNK) who play like they have a seizure. I mean they literally dance around the mob, twitch back and forth, and strive to give me some of the strangest headaches ever. The idiot ended up dancing back and forth during the final boss for A.Keep and got our healer killed with his tail swipe, and then left.

for the love of god this.I figure it out most of the dancing tanks are on ps3 trying to juggle the character into position, but some are just horrible as a mnk.Also fuck the eu lag, I gave up on being tank/stunning anything serious, I tried in any way shape or form to predict stun/interrupt stun, the bosses just cast through my stuns even when they are correctly stunned.Sometimes it goes right, sometimes not, no matter how I damn try to help with that shit.It's just too laggy even at 140ms when things are so sensitive -_-

Being eu in this game calls for not having any responsibility right now.Damn we need an eu data center.First mmo I play in many years I have issues avoiding aoe and interrupting shit, fucks sake I now understand how it feels to be all of the players with brainlag I usually scold in raid in other games -_-

Helping a ls friend out with ifrit so he can get a weapon on my blm. He was having trouble with not getting blms as dps which do make the fight a bit harder obviously because nails aren't as easy to down(though still doable). So I show up and we start clearing ifrit in 11 minutes no problem. Much to my surprise my total damage was around 75k every time while everyone else was sitting at 35-40k and that's not including the 15-20k I do to the nails lol. Which isn't all that great considering I'm the only one sporting a garuda weapon and near full darklight.

Then it happened. We got two wars as tanks. And they didn't know how to stun. Every freaking eruption got off. Duno what the point of having an instant stun ability on a 30s cool down if you're not going to use it. Couldn't even get a 3rd limit break bar by the time nails popped. We need server transfers and we need them now. I need a freaking full FC to run with and no more DF bullshit.

Dude DC'd on duty finder but never left the party. We wait 20 minutes for him before giving up and leave. Now I have to wait 15 minutes for the "leaver penalty" which I didnt even know existed for Duty Finder. What the hellllll
