Didn't see a random questions thread so I'll just drop this here:

Does your previous GC progress / seals save if you change to a different GC (in case you swap back)? I assume swapping works like FFXI where you have to work your way up to the max rank in your new GC, or do you auto start at your previous GC rank in FF14?

Not like this doesn't go both ways. Tanks can't Need on DD gear even when it's just "Discipline of War" (if I'm remembering right), healer mages can't Need on DD mage when it's "DoM", etc.

Fuck if anyone knows why SE made inane rules like that.

Also fuck indignant people expecting a smooth fight in duty finder.

This is more a complaint against people who can't dodge AoE or time their revive prompt rather than the fight itself (Titan Hard), but goddamn this fight does not seem to tolerate dying. It is quite difficult to raise someone up and keep them up if anyone bites it .

I can understand that if it said dow but it strait up says drg on it... dont list it if you dont want them lotting it

duty finder kind of stoped working for me past lvl 30, barely can find a group for anything at all... starts to feel like FFXI all over again!?

Scale is broken atm, it's DRG gear but they can't need on it. Otherwise need works fine.

I mentioned that in LS Chat, was a good laugh.

Also, beat Garuda finally, a Healer from the LS Decided to help and we finished the fight without a single death on the first runthrough with that group

Scale for some reason is considered tank gear, perhaps because at the levels scale becomes available plate pieces are slightly inferior (except for greens like the ones in Brayflox). It's not a good reason and I'm really huh about it as a tank, but there you are. Lol

I think technically the pure DoW sets are actually better for DPS, but yeah it's still silly.

It's beyond retarded that party loot options don't exist.

I don't want to have to run as a certain class/job to get gear. I'd love to be able to run w/e is needed but have the option to loot gear for an un-related class.

It changes past 30 because SCH then exists and fewer tanks seem to be around post-Brayflox's.
