Needing to do a random dungeon to progress story.....

1 hour 50 mins in duty finder que for ifrit, goto the bathroom and I miss a party and need to start all over again.

and anybody know why i can't increase my GC rank? I'm a chief flame sergeant with completed set 2 of hunting log. Says I need approval or some bollocks and can't figure out who or where I should go to

There was even a time when a Dragoon wanted both tanks to stand in front of bosses so they can go lolfullDPS.

There was a time when a dragoon would accept a party from a paladin, two summoners, a white mage and a thf and would like it, goddammit. These dragoons today don't know what the fuck.

Farming tokens at AK. First two runs were easy enough on whm. Get into my third on and I see the full AF war with a lv 49 weapon. Smn pulls hate off him the first pack. Mnk leaves. I leave. Welcome to endgame dude!

What's he supposed to do to get tokens, then? Go get all the HM gear first, then get darklight gear?

I'll admit THM seemed boring when I played it. But that's pretty bad. It's not THAT high of a level to get.

BLM got a lot more fun when I got the Firestarter trait. When I'm feeling lazy I'll still ice spam, but free and instant-cast Fire 3's at a decent proc really upped the desire to burninate. Just wish it worked off Fire II, or if it does, I've been terribly unlucky. I do wish Thundercloud's proc rate was a bit better, though.

And I guess for the sake of bitching or wanting a certain feature, some kind of means to macro conditionals like "If hasbuff "Firestarter" then /ac "Fire III"" to help cut down on finger dancing with the keyboard. Though in someone mentioning a way to macro new hotbars into view, I might work on getting a toggle between ice and fire going.

On this note, I haven't really played with BLM yet outside of solo quests and trash mobs. When you get firestarter proc, do you go ahead and complete the next cast (Fire), or stop and Fire III immediately?

I personally move and interrupt my current Fire cast to use Fire III. Sometimes I get back to back procs and I don't wanna waste them.

For all the people who do speed runs of AK, the fucker sure gets backed up. Every time I queue for it, I get a full PT and it gets stuck at reserving an instance.

seeking for 2 hours + on whm is totally normal on story stuff, I guess everyone is beyond that stuff and sadly there seems to be no incentiv to go back on that stuff, like giving way higher peeps that get synced some exp boost that correlates to their main level or so..., i mean come on 4k exp for a repeat of the titan fight?

- People who came from WoW and are now applying their WoW knowledge to the game, rather than learning it as a new game.
- No gear check before queue qualification (I know this issue is being addressed)
- Global Cooldown vs. "I NEED TO TANK THIS MOB BUT I AM HELPLESSLY STANDING HERE BECAUSE SOMEONE PULLED AGGRO DURING MY 'GET AGGRO BACK' PROCESS!" (See above)
- People who leave after one or two attempts with a pug group and/or expecting perfect synergy without putting time into the run.
- People who want free loot, but do not properly gear for an attempt and then proceed to win the loot due to being carried.
- How easy the quests and storyline quests were. I wish they were more challenging.
- Warrior tanks who think they are better than Paladin tanks and/or that Warriors are fine and do not need help with a retune.
- Warrior tanks who are in denial that Paladin tanks are statistically better.

I've had better luck with warriors than paladins. The best was definitely the GLA who told my friend and me that it was WoW players who bitch about not keeping hate after we politely suggested he use Flash... I pointed out I've never played WoW in my life...

Sometimes I just wait a sec to see if it procs, others I'll backstep to cancel cast and hit F3. I'm still up-and-coming, but seeing the 650+ crits are yummy and I absolute LOVE it when I go through my entire MP bar on Fire and get FS procs on each cast.
