FFXIV Random Complaint Thread: Look forward to it

Every Lv.50 DF group is now just a bitchfest between people trying to do a speed run of some sort and the sandy vag or two who want to kill every trash mob in sight and watch the entirety of every single cutscene (or simply don't know how to avoid aggro'ing unnecessary mobs).

The only benefit of this is people drop out of groups pretty often thanks to these arguments, so checking the "join group in progress" will get you in pretty quick (since so many people don't notice that option).

For what purpose do you need to remain logged on if you're not using the game? Are you like... watching TV and just listening for tell chimes or something? That's about all I can think of...

Yeah, was queued up for the gunshield galka fight this morning, hear a beep while doing some other things around the house, "Oh... it disconnected me. Fuck."

Really don't like auto-kickers in general, I'm one of those people that leaves their PC on 24/7 logged into various things. Helps to not miss messages, avoid repeated log-ins, boot ups, and so on. If this turns into me just weighing my space bar down for potential AFKs, to be it.

Maybe they feel like people wouldn't put stuff on the marketplace if it was in other storage? I dunno. GW2 already did this, and it was great.

...what? That's what your inventory is for.

Aside from fishing tackle, food, materia, catalysts, dark matter, and a scant few other things, your inventory would be pretty empty. I don't see why you think you need another separate storage. If crafting materials didn't take up inventory space, I'd only have a bag and a half full, and I don't even need half of the food/meds I have in there because they're just random quest rewards.

Carrying 1 stack of every Fishing bait/lure is about 2 slots shy of taking up two whole fucking pages of my inventory. Fisher needs a separate tacklebox that you can permanently drop tackle into that your Bait skill pulls from.

Complaint that has been stressed before, but I'll say it again: JESUS FUCK LET ARCANIST QUEUE AS HEALER LOW LEVEL FUCKERLORDS, I mean jesus I heal better than 99% of the CNJ at that level because I have stoneskin and shit from cross class.

Besides that, the fate grind is really starting to take a toll on me, leveling multiple jobs 30+. The leveling experience in this game is boring as fuck compared to a lot of other games I've played.

If you have Stoneskin (Level 34 ability) why can't you just equip your SCH stone and queue as that?

GW2 nailed it. Random drop in the field, you want to know it's useful? Good I can tell you it's useful because it has its own slot here on this little page.

Not sure if trolling. Cross class skills can be used at level 1 as long as you reached the required class level to unlock it in the first place.
