You mean the playerbase that used to write Spellcast xmls?
There are always people that are going to be clueless about game functions, how many people do you think aren't aware of half of the current commands in the game now?
edit: also 30+ min wait times for AK instances is not something that should be happening still, have they even acknowledged the problem much less said anything about solving it?
fuck, take 3/4ths of all other dungeon instances and make them into AK, no one would notice a fucking thing because no one does the lower level dungeons
I can dye Hoplite set (AK tank gear, or the leggings at least), but not the ugly-ass Strategos or Demagogue mage sets.
Just beat Titan hard, but I hand to play sch cause we had no one else that had a geared 50sch .... I am working on my Artemis bow.
fuck you SE.
(I did get the MNK hands that dropped, and we got heart of Titan also, apparently it's rare or some shit?)
Can't stand it when you're waiting for 30+ min to get into an instance, just to have one of the dps not hit "Commence" and get kicked back to the end of the queue.
Wat? You don't go back to the end I'm pretty sure??
Dungeon Grinding is getting stupid. 30+ minute wait for AK and whenever I do CM, there's some lazy fucks who go AFK since we aren't allowed to kick anyone.
Seriously SE, let us kick people.
Yep, I've gotten thrown to the back of the line twice tonight already. I'm just about to give up for tonight.
This.
Also, finding out the time limit still counts down while cutscenes are playing. I can see about 2-3 short ones (Intro, boss introduction, etc) like the early dungeons do. But for the love of all that's holy why did the final storyline dungeon and the one before it have to have over 5 cutscenes?

Whose website is this, it's terrible.
My actual concern for the iLvl restrictions will be that it will be anything remotely similar to that trash.
I personally liked Neverwinters system, it was pretty dumb for that game but would make more sense in XIV.
I hate duty finder, period (I hate WoW's dungeon/raid finder system, too). I prefer the shout method or actually playing with people in your shell/guild/FC whatever. I miss people joining together and being communicative with one another in order to complete a task that is bigger than solo content.
I was surpised one sunday when someone requested if i can tank copperbell mines for him. I asked if he knew me or why me, he said I showed up in player search. turned out he already built a party with a healer and a dps, and needed a tank. so that's 1 proof the system works, if people can invest the time in using it. we went on to become "friends" although it's possible i'll just be his tank whore (and i love tanking) lol
An ilvl system check is already in place, somewhat. Earlier on I was on a story quest, which demanded i have a ilvl 10 or something on my main slots. i was temporarily annoyed as i was doing fine with my starting gear lol, and was choose gil nuggets for every quest reward where possible, so i actually had to buy some junk from the NPC.
