I've met tanks in Stone Vigil that... how did they get to level 41? They literally are unable to control their character. They couldn't get past the first hallway. I refuse to believe there are people that stupid, that managed to get to level 41 on a job.

LOL. Leve failed, he did not protect his party and they left by the 3rd pull. I'm sure he restarted the leve immediately though since he wasn't the first to leave.

It's lag, but it's easily avoidable if square fixes things right, now is exactly as you explain though sadly because the game has the built in delay + your latency...

by the way they might not see this as a bug, if you check that they consider animation locks for stuns as working as intended, so it would be best to try and get used to it unless there's a different confirmation from square

It's definitely a bug. Have you ever tried using Swiftcast during an Odin/Behemoth FATE? I swear, half the time it wears off before it realizes that it should've been used.

I don't think it's a bug, it's action lag, game lag, or it's the way the game mechanics are, if you try to cast a spell too soon after using swiftcast, it will still try and cast the spell.

Same shit with summoner, if I use Bio, which is an instant cast spell, and then cast bane IMMEDIATELY afterwards, the bio doesnt spread to other targets because it hasnt applied to the main target yet. I usually hit bane after waiting half a second to make sure my DoT is applied.

Reporting a 40 SMN in-game for botting 5 straight days at Diremite Web camp. Then receiving an email telling me to report this on the game forums under "in-game bugs", where there are specific rules against witchhunts and would likely get me banned. (oh no banz, but still)

Well since I can presume they are spending their time FIXING the issues instead of posting about fixing the issues, they will probably get better. Its more a known fact that people who arn't in IT will bitch about everything not understanding what exactly is going on behind the scenes. People just imagine all the techs sitting around, browsing porn and eating nutter butters and cheese doodles all day while ignoring their issues. 9 times out of 10 we have a fucking backlog of shit we're working on, and every fix might create a new problem.

Its actually more like people who paid money for a service are going to bitch when the service isn't running in tip-top shape, regardless of the medium in which the service exists or the names/titles of those tasked with maintaining/fixing the service.

People bitch at IT and customer support because they're always working for companies that have shit that breaks. There is no other reason. Nobody is going to call out IT or a customer service rep if the shit works 100%. Do you spend your weekends calling random companies of a product that you haven't invested in, complaining to them? I sure don't.

One of the biggest points of a DF is to make instancing accessible and relatively quick.

Having to be at my PC uninterrupted (or miss the prompt) for such a ridiculous amount of time completely defeats the purpose.

It doesn't matter if I have the will and the time to do AK now, I need to think of whether I will in 90 mins and whether I'll be able to sit here without interruption for all that time plus the time it takes to actually do the dungeon.

Oh i'm not saying "dont complain to IT" because then we'll never know the issue. But spamming IT staff and expecting an answer or reply to everything just won't happen. Usually you get a "we're working on it/aware of it" and then you don't get anything unless it takes far longer then expected. Has SE replied at all over the issues? Doesn't help that I had 3 teachers spamming emails at me when I read that post and vented through it lol.

I do like the ability to be able to queue and then swap classes to do other shit, if they didn't have that the queue would piss me off more when leveling dps.

Pretty retarded that they had to go that round-about way since they didn't have a system in place to send you the correct gender pieces (though it's possibly due to the existence of Fantasia) . I only knew where it was from frequently pouring over all the shit I can't afford/get yet from Rowena & Sluts.

I did 52 runs and saw one sword, of course I lotted a 29 on it and lost. I just bought GC sword and gave up on getting Ifrit. Especially when you don't need it to kill Garuda. Would have saved many hours if I came to that decision earlier.

Wow and I thought people that couldn't dodge his rush attack was bad. Then again I guess it's not that hard to dodge when you're not in the middle of the arena.

Though yeah, the loot distribution for primals is pure crap. Sounds like V1 all over again. Took me nearly 100 kills for my lance just to never use LNC again after the next patch.
