Last I saw something official it said begining of October.
I had a pugilist in Darkhold yesterday when i was farming it for skank gear....I asked why he wasn't monk and got no response. I can only assume these people grind FATES so much they forget that there are class quests...I doubt they even have some of their abilities honestly.
"Hey i'm lvl 46 and have no pieces of AF gear and obviously i'm lacking all of my job abilities post lvl 30 because I GOTTA FATE GRIND MAN"
That's what I was thinking as well, especially with the mentality of "AOE EVERYTHING CAUSE THAT'S HOW I GET MORE EXP" while the BLM was trying to sleep and add or two when we had groups of 4 or more in a pull. MP wasn't an issue to heal through it, but I couldn't throw up DoTs in the large groups because I was spamming Physick.
I'd rather be in an XP party grinding Raptors and doing Leves.
How can a DF group suddenly get past the Titan Heart Phase twice in a row, then suddenly start dying during Phase 1-2 (yes, they were seriously dying to landslides in Phase 1)?
Eh. Probably a kid or older person.
Last night i joined my first FC. Moments later a woman joined, along with her husband and two 11 year old kids. She explained that she wanted to join a FC where people wouldn't judge her family for their lack of skill..
I don't even
is this common in america? did MMOs replace family activities?
I know this but it's stupid that the fight is designed around moving before the attack appears on your screen. Or maybe it was not intended to be dodged that way and we're just working around the shitty code?
The favourable position is as far away from everyone else as possible so that you only have your own plume to worry about if one spawns under you. Problem is everyone runs around because they don't know if it will be under them, so you end up with plumes overlapping plumes etc and you have to change direction causing you to get hit. This becomes an even bigger issue after the heart because the arena is about half the size it was at the start of the fight.
I have no problem dodging Landslide or any other attack in the game, it's just this Titan plume because it forces you to react to something that isn't there yet. If I have to start running to avoid something before it appears on my screen that suggests it isn't appearing on my screen fast enough. I am EU which I'm sure doesn't help.
Well I've managed to queue for and get into a dungeon on Arcanist. I'd gone into a low level FATE initially as SCH, but it was sub 30 and changed me to ACN. When the FATE ended, I queued in Duty Finder without really taking it in and ended up in Stone Vigil like that. I apologised and left... SMN, I would have stayed but I'd intended to queue as SCH.
Also, I run Sastasha to speed people's queue finder times on my SCH all the dang time (17 cap).
So today halfway through fighting Demon Wall he repels me, then my screen blacks out like I'm entering a cutscene...next thing I know it fades back in and I'm standing in the center of the arena just in time to get hit by liquefy. Didn't kill me or anything and we won anyway, but that is freaking weird- never had that happen before. Just wondering if anyone else ran into this.
This happens a lot when the DF servers are getting slammed. This is what the devs were talking about when they were talking about Data Corruption. Other similar occurrences of this: Demon Wall freezing all attacks and progression, not getting repelled, and getting stuck behind Demon Wall.
Yeah, Demon Wall eating people. Om nom nom nom. Usually it happens because you have a strong stoneskin up that eats repel (you won't get pushed back if you don't take damage), so when wall moves forward, he moves onto you and OM NOM NOM.
There's no problem with it; you just lose a few seconds of DPS as you run back to him. Freaked me the fuck out the first time it happend to me, though.
Demon Wall thing happened to me three times yesterday. It's designed to reset you if you get stuck inside it, so it's an obvious indication of the server vs. client side positioning not updating as it should, which is a pretty terrible thing in a game designed dancing around mobs.
