and they react by afking for 20 minutes and/or wipe the party repeatedly, rather than just getting the 15 minute lockout.

Too keep kinda going with this retarded bs. Last night did a garuda fight, probably had about 8~9 rocks still up by reckoning. Everything was going ok, until tank died on second set of sisters, OT got garuda, healers got mt up, but things went a bit haywire, as one of the healers died. By the time we got to the third set of sisters three dps and a healer were dead. Surprise, we wiped. When we got up, healer went on a rant that "we don't have enough dps for this fight, that's why we wiped to the third set, we can't kill this with our dps being so low."

Obviously we pointed out that we weren't exactly at full force, and considering how many rocks we had, we had more than enough dps, and the issue started with the tank dying, etc. Guy waited until we pulled and then didn't hide behind rocks while going in this full long rant about how he is the best healer on the planet and he's not curing people who have terrible dps etc.


Luckily, he didn't stay too long.

The guy freaks out saying "you fuckers need me, I'm in almost FULL DARKLIGHT GEAR", at which point the entire group dies during the second pull because we're all laughing too hard to hide behind rocks. Guy ends up leaving after we inspect him and see his level 37 aetherial accessories. Good times.

Wouldn't be a problem with vote to kick, and being able to bring in new members during primal fights. But because SE is SE, no vote to kick option.

At best you get rid of an annoying/rude/etc prick but in the end it really wouldn't help.
From what I've been reading most of these kinda things happen during primal fights (I usually make my own group in shout) and that's the one type of instance you can't replace members in.

I also feel like vote kick is going to hurt some players more than itll help get rid of bastards.
People getting kicked for doing CM first time and wanting to watch their cutscenes etc.
Or even a low level dungeon where someone is new and gets kicked cause people expect perfect party members even though they use DF.

It'll have its up and downsides.
It not helping in the end was pointing more towards HM Primals where you can't replace members anyway.
I just feel like the more casual players without a major FC will be hurt by this more than it'll help then.

Ofcourse you could argue "they could just join a FC and do it, screw casuals." But then again, so could everyone else and then no one would have this problem.
I wouldn't mind getting rid of people who feel like they can afk for an entire instance etc, don't get me wrong. I just also think that, as I said before, people will get kicked for watching cutscenes cause everyone uses their storymode instance they have to do and want to enjoy to farm easy endgame gear and can't stand them watching cutscenes etc.

You're going to get pros and cons for each, it's just a matter of which is going to be abused more in the end. With Vote to Kick, you'll have premade groups queueing for dungeons and then kicking the random member so they can have full access to the loot (they may or may not use the random member to help kill trash up until a boss before a kick). That scenario isn't really an issue yet since the only dungeon loot worth a shit is in Coil and if you're doing that, you're already in a good group of people.

Regardless, you essentially end up with groups of douches griefing one person instead of one person griefing 3/7 people. They could have limits to kicking of course; if it's a person's first time or the dungeon is part of a quest/mission, he can't be kicked so you'd at least circumvent newbies getting kick-griefed for their first run of a dungeon.

The game is ruined because elitists sped through the game and now everything is ruined. Stop and enjoy the game and you wont have any reason to complain about the endgame activities or the tomestone grinds.

Have you leveled other jobs yet? Tried DoL/H? Explored all of Eorzea? If you haven't then you have nothing to complain about it. Stop rushing games and level slow you losers.
