I beat Titan with the lvl 55 weapon. I believe Smn is one of the few jobs who can get away with it thanks to our egi and dots

"Get away with it" is subjective. I'd say it matters about as much / moreso since bad weapon (not that i55 is bad) = bad pet and bad DoTs.

FATEs were the worst idea the devs ever came up with. The best way to level up in this game is now to rush from one fate to the next, hitting your aoe or fastest instant ability to do some damage before the mob dies in 2 seconds and you rush to the next fate after you complete that one in 2 mins. No one ever learns how to play their class and it's a mindless boring grind. They should have kept dungeons the main way to level up and boost their xp a bit. At least you need to learn to play your class in there.

There will always be bad players, but yeah, FATE grinding really seems to make people terrible. A friend of mine had a Summoner in Wanderer's Palace using only Ruin the entire dungeon, 0 dots.

SMNs not using Shadow Flare.
SMNs not using Obey (Yeah that selfbuff is really gonna help Ifrit)

I'm thankful I haven't yet had one that was so bad as to forget fucking DoTs.

I can't believe SE still hasn't sorted their shitty servers out. I disconnected while having dinner due to the 30 minute kick and now I'm locked out. I can't even load the NA/EU character list and if I do get past that I get a different error. No wonder people go out of their way to stop the game auto logging out.

The moment I noticed Garuda using the dot extension move when I was still in the middle of casting my first one, I was pretty much like, "lolno" and have forever converted to obey. lol

Really wish it was a "stance" though that they stayed in so I wouldn't have to use it on every fricking enemy (this might not be a problem though whenever we're allowed to macro pet abilities).

Only have to reapply Obey if you resummon it (and possibly when "zoning" via teleporters).

Kind of related, I am convinced the only reason Obey restricts you to the first 2 of 4 actions is because Ifrit's spamattack is 2nd instead of 1st like with every other summon for whatever dumb reason.

Thanks Ifrit. Because of you I need Eos on Guard to not blow her regen instead of just Obey. Nobody loves you. Go home.

Ifrit is actually a better option for clearing trash than Garuda-egi imo. Garuda's only worthwhile in long-duration battles for Contagion as far as I am concerned. All of Ifrit's attacks do more damage at level 50 than Garuda's, plus he doesn't try to knock-back. The only downside is his aoe stun but if you're just clearing trash you're not worried about resistance anyway.

Weird. Reports I've seen around the ACN thread say Wind Blade does more per hit than Ifrit's autoattack+Burning Strike. For some reason. Though I can understand his AoE for trash.

I am just Garuda and Titan away from getting my relic. My current weapon is just the GC weapon. I really don't understand why primal weapons exist because the relic weapon quest is way easier that doing 10+ titans.

Ifrit and Garuda weapons exist because of 1.0, Titan weapons exist because Ifrit and Garuda weapons exist.

I'm hoping Primal Extremes open a quest that can upgrade your base Primal weapon to an Item Level 85 or so version. Something between Relic and +1.
