I didn't find that it hurt me that much, I made tens of millions gathering walnut and yew logs a year and a half after launch. At least my shit was worth something.

The main problem right now is supply is way higher than demand. With crafting being so easy to level now this just makes the problem worse. I can't think of a good way to solve that without either limiting how much you can gather or making shit harder to level, and no one wants either of those so I guess we're stuck with gathering materials being worthless.

Now I have a complaint which is unrelated to the above. Why is there no scrollbar on the chat log?

Anyway, I'll agree low/mid-tier mats are flooded because of the grind. but even if you changed crafting to be harder to level, instead of thousands of a certain mat being on the market, we instead have lots of gear nobody could/would use. Quest rewards even contribute to this issue. But since we have a crafting library established for the moment, all we can really hope for is new stuff to suck things up.

And back to gathering, maybe SE just need to give materials another purpose other than crafting.

I ran across a DRG in full AF with Darklight DEX accessories today in Garuda HM. Just... wow.

Considering that the achievements are pointless (as they should be) I don't really see the problem.

Just do your lvl 50 class quest.

People who form/join CM "speed runs" that have no idea what they're doing.

People complaining about shouts for "relic only" CM/Prae SRs can go right to hell, I'm way too fucking tired of philo farming to have to deal with bullshit like people attacking slept mobs and aggroing shit all over the place.

I've yet to have a shitty relic-only group.

90% of the time they're mostly from the same LS/FC and just filling in a few gaps.

I still have no idea what this game is about. Summary of what I know: I killed some shitty primals, saved the big titty hume in the ridiculous outfit, and shit on Ultima Weapon. Now I just kill some random snake boss, a floating ball, and lots of trash mobs in some dungeon called Coil every week.
