It's not kind of dumb, it's just full retard. I keep a little sd card reader lying around to transfer everything over to my laptop when I feel like lounging on the couch and vice versa. Doesn't take more then a few seconds but still annoying.
About Garuda HM quest and full inventory:
Been there done that. No idea why so many people get full inventory around this point in game but searching on Google I can confirm there are about 4 of us that have had this issue for sure.![]()
8 sets of DoH AF, 2 sets of DoL AF, militia off-hand tools, militia accessories, a handful of crafted greens for SBing.....
More than 60 items I'd need to manually unload onto a retainer to be able to turn in the AK gear I don't need any more.
I started passing on all the AK gear because of that bull.
I realize this is a stupid complaint .. but since I'm annoyed by it .. its still a complaint. It honestly only occurred because I was trying to NOT play the main story til I could get on the server I wanted ... which I am now thankfully on ... so I played Miner exclusively, getting it to now 22.
Anyway, my complaint is that even though Disciples of the Land/Hand are real classes (as shown by my earlier complaint when I started to level my real class yesterday and found out I couldn't turn in quests I did because my Miner level was the one that unlocked them) they don't have the full game experience included in them. Now I'm obviously going to get back to my THM now, but conceptually people could try to exclusively play Hand/Land classes to start but there's some very large annoyances.
1) At level 20 I was given a class quest to go mining in La Noscea ... which as far a I know, I can't actually go to. Fail.
2) The main reason I decided to come vent in this thread again is I just completely filled my inventory and decided to go dump it on the market, which to this point I hadn't tried to use. Annnnd apparently I can't use it without playing the main story on my THM. Amazing.
So yeah, they're technically minor gripes for something that really doesn't matter ... but regardless, it not fun having basic functionality gated and not letting the Hand/Land classes open those gates.
I agree it's a bit saddening. For the few that didn't play 1.0, they really did try to make DoL/DoH actual classes. We even had an event called Hamlet, where DoL/DoH were in demand to come to. DoL would gather mats in it, and DoH would turn those mats into weapons to give to ncps to fight. There was promises of needed them in endgame dungeons (think they were gonna have bop mats or something). And my personal fav that I am so sad they got rid of, PVP battles were initially going to be ship fights and those were going to be crafted. (That seemed to get scrapped insanely early on.)
I love crafting in mmos, I was so excited with how important they were going to be, but ya, they really just pushed it to the back. ;_;
90k, 90k eeevveerrrryyywwwhhheeerrreeeee...
For me it was due to having full inventory on my retainer so I had to put the crap I was selling in my inventory. Still seems odd you don't get notified about full inventory from this yet other quests do.
Anyway, anyone else having trouble with the game closing? Try to exit and I just get a black screen of nothingness until I force it to close through task manager.
Yoshi's latest live letter:
"As for myself, I’ve finally defeated Titan in the main story, and am now in snowswept Coerthas. I’ve been going it incognito on the public servers, and it’s been a lot of fun playing with you all. I can never resist a shout for help to venture through lower level dungeons, so it'll probably be a while before I reach end game."
...
I think it's pretty cool he's playing and leveling up and stuff personally.
jesus fucking christ, SE payment system sucks donkey dick.
