GW2 can switch speakers just fine. Hell, they even programmed in the option to switch speakers for the game itself.
So saying it's not possible with Windows is frankly bullshit. SE is just incompetent.

It's not solely a SE problem, I've seen that issue in other games and even some media players.
Back during beta I tried to do a bit of google-fu to at least provide them with some references on how other programs were doing it. It got into areas of programming I know nothing about. Since it was the beta forum that post is long gone. They were clear at the time it simply was not possible.
Why can't SE get their act together and add the armoire tag to new event items when they come out. Still waiting for the new summer stuff to be storable.
As a 50 BRD/CRP/LTW/WVR/CUL/BTN I have to agree. :/ Botany not withstanding, I wish everything else took pretty much twice as long to level. Everybody and their mom has 50 crafting classes because it's so easy to level them. What level are you now? Because it gets painfully boring later on.
People spamming Circle of Thorns in town areas. Do you have any idea how obnoxious that noise is?!?!
Also, duty finder lockout timer still broken.
Under the current system you would need 50 healer/tank pairs for every 100 DPS.
If the parties were 3xDPS instead you would need 34 pairs for every 100 and 4xDPS would need 25 pairs.
The bottom line is that the ques are horrible and having a 6 man party would have made them a lot faster, been a throwback to FFXI and would require very little rebalancing for the dungeons.
The vast majority of people like to touch themselves to huge numbers, especially me. So why not design the system around that fact?
DF parties in AK as a WHM has been a real drag so far. Can't even get past the first boss without dying.
Random: "Okay lets use tree trick!"
Me: "It doesn't work anymore."
Rondom: "Oh. How you do this boss then?"
And this is why you get people like a PLD who spams flash till out of MP, Pull with Provoke, WHM who open with Medica II on a boss fight, etc.
Cause literally people are so happy they got in DF that they generally just decide to deal with it and carry whoever the shit person is.
They'll never see them again anyway.
I'm quite patient with people and honestly hardly ever check anyone's gear. I just wait to see how they perform, but if we wipe 3 times to something stupid I get less and less friendly etc.
I personallly spammed the crap out of CM and WP to get full DL and DL Weapon before I event tried AK/Garuda/Titan. But to each their own.
As for someone mentioning lvling is too quick.
It should be just as quick but in dungeons instead, so people actually get to learn their job in a dungeon setting rather than spamming instants and aoes.
But then people who are DPS classes would complain balls cause they can't get in DF as easy as a Tank or Healer can.
Always lovely when your client stops updating a random player's position on your end in an instance when you're healing, resulting in them dying because they're "out of range" due to your client doing the distance check for skills, not the server. Was funny the one time it happened to the tank, doing all his skills and hate holding from 30 feet away. Have to relog to or exit instance to fix it, but it's not like you can do that during a boss fight without repercussions.
What's also annoying for me is when I DF AK/WP, and get a PLD tank who takes too much damage for Eos to solo-heal. I like SCH DPSing in AK/WP, stop DFing them in full AF, christ.
My account being flagged suspicious again. Even though this is an IP I logged into before.
I really need to buy me another token.
Aside from fixing the GC item turn in menu to actually let you turn shit in, I hope they're coming up with a plan for what to do with primal weapons because that shit's starting to clog up my inventory too.
Not backed up on any DL gear yet but they better have a plan for that too.
(and it better be something half-fucking-decent)
I kind of know WHY this is, coding-wise (your Z-axis only matters for ledges and shit unless height difference is too much), but it's still fucking dumb from a logistics standpoint: jumping doesn't count as dodging any kind of persisting floor AoE (poison pools in Aurum Vale, hydra/chim floor stuff, etc).
I'm having an insanely hard time gearing up my WHM with DL because DF groups are too shitty, and shout groups require relics for speedruns.
It either everyone is shit, or everyone is an elite. There seems to be no middle road.
