Also, today i went to equip a "bone ring" (thank god it was level 9 PoS), and equipped it the moment I got into combat... so the chat log says "bone ring equipped," but since i equipped it the moment I got into combat it never actually was equipped... and instead I lost it. Oh the rage that could happen if it was a serious piece of gear

People can only have 4 letters with items in their mailbox at a time (or perhaps 4 letter's worth of max deliveries). If the recipient has that, the game won't let you mail shit. I found that out when my retainers were overstocked and I was ferrying gathered goods to a buddy since SE also deemed it smart to not let us mail to alts.

DF for story mode dungeons are a fucking joke. I joined NINE DF parties (clicked on 'join in progress' for all of them) for Castrum yesterday and not of them went anywhere because you had fucktards that would join and immediately bail because there were a handful of folks who hadn't completed it yet. Just gonna go ahead and join a FC run, but it's a fairly shitty thing.

Well yeah, these are the bright sparks who think they're hot shit but haven't figured out that 95% of the population is now farming AK and WP over CM. It's a double dose of asshattery.

DF CM "speedrunners" are a joke now. I joined a CM run to help someone in my FC since me on tank makes it insta-queue. Noticed half the party was watching intro cutscene and they said they were first timers. Asked if they wanted to do a slow run and all but one said yes. The one who didn't wanted a speedrun and proceeded to bash the others for being bad. Checked the guy and he was in full AF with level 30~ accessories. I wish I remembered to screenshot that for the random fail thread.

<3 all the people in lvl30 gear/AF wanting in for Hydra kills. While its not a hard fight at all, it just makes it even worse when you are so poorly geared and go on to exhibit downs as you stand in every breath/tall swipe/terror. 1st group had a PLD who wanted to MT with me picking up adds as a WAR. the PLD had his relic, but was in full AF with lvl 30 gear on it, proceeded to eat every single white breath and die due to healing not being able to keep up....i'm sure he didn't buy a full run from Chimera to Titan from a FC...

Further on that point, I dont get why ppl fucking bumrush to the relic in shit gear and then cry for a carry. I just now started up my relic quest after getting AF2/DL with a few AK pieces. I wasn't even going to attempt Titan till I had 7k hp.

If you're DFing CM for speed runs you've failed to begin with.

Spend 5 mins at Rev Toll and just join/form a shout group.

Or just do WP.

^Pretty difficult for fresh level 50s since every single shout demands Relic/DL groups for Speedruns.

I had to use DF CM/Prae to just get my foot in the door on my Fresh WHM.

This is pretty much why I stick to CM. Never tried AK since the tree trick got fixed. Even then that was my first and only time so far.

While I find that the above applies to shouts, I've never had issues in Duty Finder AK. I only skip about 3 packs of monsters (easily-skipped 2nd group of hippos, the junk off to the side before the 1st boss, and the junk immediately after the accessory chest), which is a far cry from anything close to a speed run, and nobody ever complains.

Spiritbond runs are so much better than speedruns. I'm going to have my group not speedrun through coil turn 3 so we can get spiritbond on ilvl55/70 gear lol.
