They need to make self repairs actually convenient.
I have to switch to the craft, try and remember which piece needed repairing (because all my gear was just unequipped) go to that slot in the chest, find the piece, repair it, change crafts, forget which other pieces still needed repairing, change back to the job so I can see the gear and dura values again, switch back to the craft........repeat for the next 1 or 2 crafts needed for the other various potential repairs.
I don't know if this will help you at all, but you can drag the "Repair" action onto your DoH hotbar and using it will open an interface identical to the one you receive when talking to the repair NPC (select equipped/slots/inventory and receive a list of all items that your currently-equipped DoH class can repair).
It's still terribly inconvenient, but I find this way to be slightly less troublesome, since it shows each item in a list fashion, and their damage meters are plain to see.
Idk how much you played of 1.0 but by the later stages you could actually sort gear by durability, one click and all of your lowest dura gear was instantly sorted to the top of your inv.
And since there was no armoury chest with all the different windows it was all just 1 convenient list, much easier than it is now.
Didn't know you could do this, I find it slightly more convenient but the annoying part of everything being split into a bunch of different menus is still annoying.
Also, is there no shortcut to open up the gear set list? As in not having to go thru the character menu and open the list manually.
(I know you can put gearsets on the hotbar but that's not really helpful when you've got 26 gear sets)
I wasn't around for the later stages, so that's unfortunate.
Also /micon [emote] doesn't seem to work, so much for that idea.
Stop/start lag and 90k's like crazy tonight in DF. Wasn't this supposed to be fixed a week ago?
^ Better be gone by tomorrow night. Its turn 4 night.
These underground miners/botanists really rustle my jimmies when I hear the air sheathing its pickaxe/hatchet when I'm just trying to lie back and enjoy pressing X over and over
I've been wondering why SE opted for so short a road to 50, but I'd wager that it had, at the very least, something to do with the fact that there were plenty of capped out players from 1.0 around at the time of the launch.
Personally, I definitely would have favoured a longer leveling process as it would have prevented the sudden "nothing to do"-syndrome or delayed it. On the other hand, at least there's not too great a disparity between Legacy-players and new players as far as ToMs are concerned.
For the moment, I'm still content with the amount of content available, though that mainly stems from the fact that I don't have that much time. Can only hope that Crystal Tower will be fun, I'd like to do stuff with more than just seven of my friends, though that also makes me wonder if there'll be any content in the future which we can do with less than the amount of players required by the system. Can you even enter dungeons or other fights with less than 4/8 party members?
Lag and 90k:ed so hard I cant even mine for shards.

wait, wat? wouldn't you want to ya know... get other jobs to 50 on the same character?
That's the thing though, the core of the game is designed to let you gear multiple jobs. We just don't have the content yet to close the loop at the top tiers. If being fully saturated with gear from AK/WP, and the amount of philo tomes I'm going to have to burn before 2.1 is any indication, we'll be swimming in iLvl 80 gear shortly after the patch.

One of my gripes in this debate is that people have rushed jobs and then seem to have an expectation to gear them in BiS straight away. It's a broken expectation. Adequate gear for everything bar turn 4 and 5 is readily available with almost no restrictions. Beyond that you really should have to put some effort in. There's a huge distinction between being "geared" and being "geared to the teeth". In the case of 2nd and 3rd jobs, some sacrifices need to be made to be optimal, much to people's disgust apparently.
Also, If there's a lack of content now, then being able to gear multiple jobs faster surely isn't a productive solution to it.
One thing I will agree on is that the cost of coil reset is too damn high.
