I like playing two characters in any MMO.

If you meant that as a way of having something to do, I was exaggerating (it was 3 AM), but FATE grinding multiple jobs to 50 isn't exactly appealing. I plan on getting my crafts to 50 though.

For real though stuff like retainer bell, crafting mat NPCs, and market boards will be accessible from the (FC only?) house. So it SHOULD at the very least be a good spot for idling/crafting/whatever. Depends what kind of fish are there too.

That sells it for me then. With how awkward it is to target an object by using the mouse, I'd kill to get rid of the clusterfuck of people around the bell to summon/check my retainer.

Assuming tab-targeting works similarly to controller targeting, if you run up to a retainer bell/market board and just target blindly it should prioritize the bell/board over PCs.

At least that's how it works on a gamepad.

Are you using legacy settings? Since I don't think I've been able to tab target anything that wasn't an enemy.

You can use the confirm button (Numpad 0), which prioritizes NPCs over PCs.

Shouldn't be any more instanced than like an inn room or little quest-only areas (like the little prison you're in pre-Ifrit), but this is SE so I don't doubt there could be a "housing" world because it would be illogical.
