I have MNK/DRG/BLM at 50, and Miner/BSM 50, I don't feel any need to level another job cause I gain nothing with it right now, there's nothing to grind, nothing to camp, nothing to farm, basically nothing to keep you going, you log in a day or two, clear turns 1-4 and get you weekly myth stones and that's it, you're done for the week.

I never though I'd say this, but I miss camping shit in XIV, or even going farther back, grinding for drops in Ragnarok Online.. at least it gave you something to do during off times.

I log in for coil and that's that. I'll log in when PVP and Crystal Tower are here, but I don't -need- to progress any other classes, and I'd rather level them when I actually want to play that class instead of just having everything at 50 just because. When dungeons are revamped and give rewards and people don't have to FATE grind all day, I'll play them, and I'll enjoy them instead of never seeing half my moves because they don't insta-claim.

I don't miss any camping bullshit at all, but I'm also glad that I have other things to occupy my time, because I'd be pretty unhappy if I didn't.

I'm glad the game doesn't take all your time to do something, I'm enjoying my 3DS quite a bit, otherwise I would barely touch it, but right now it's too extreme, I'd be fine with 1-2 hours a day, right now it's 1-2 hours a week :/

Hmmmm......

Interrupting the combo is the main reason i don't like to use stun. I LoS Void Thunder and save Spirits Within for Mind Meld. My GCD is never "up" so I rarely am able to stun any of the 2.5s spells without some degree of luck. Spirits is another story though. His recast on Mind Meld is almost exactly 30sec, I imagine that's by design so WARs have a chance.

edit: In a friend-only group most of this doesn't matter and if spells slip through no one cares. Surviving DF is another story though.

So just me being dumb, or does AK final boss behave a little weird now? When tank pulls everyone just gets on hate meter (and no it's not regen or anything; Adlo Stoneskin and maybe Eye). If tank is a colossal dumbass and pulls boss with voke, I'm instantly red and fuck up positioning.

I swear everyone in DF with a relic was carried. There is no way you can have survived Titan if you get hit by every single fucking Demon Wall lane.

Dumbass is an understatement for voke pulling any boss in AK.

Tank should never pull in a normal situation with voke, as, in that instance, it would literally give a single point of hate. X2 axes/shields while positioning and that's that.

Broken game is broken. Why do people clip through Demon Wall for no reason? Why does he toss you off the edge if you stand nose-to-nose with him dead center?

Japan made this. Are you so surprised? It's so buggy that I'd expect for Bethesda or Obsidian to have made it.

It has its moments as a decent pull in areas where you can't reach a mob with Shield Lob. But those situations are extremely limited.

Reason is (I think at least) the actual hit box of Demon Wall.
Although it has a big ass animation around it, the actual thing is tiny, which is why using Bane doesn't seem to work for me.
Which also means that if you stand nose to nose and you're off by just a tiny bit, it's actually pretty significant.

This is why I always take a few steps back, just so the wall doesn't clip through me and glitches and I make sure I am actually in front of him.

It's kinda like playing Pool all day and then go play Snooker.
The balls in Snooker are smaller so the slightest angle has a lot more impact on the direction.

... If that makes sense.

I literally LoS everything anything casts on me, especially on Flayer. Even Water etc.
I mean, I'm standing there anyway, may aswell take those two steps and do it since I can just keep spamming 1, 2, 3 for a halone combo while I'm at it!

Honestly never do it with melee dps.

Always Myself (PLD), my gf on SMN, a friend of mine on SCH and either my brother on Archer or my friend's gf on BLM.
And lately, no one ever bothers with AK anyway.
Only time I do it now is for relic quests. And then, if there is a MNK or DRG in the group, I consider their positional requirements.

I still need the rings for my WHM and SMN but I cba with it cause it just never dropped so far. PLD included but thankfully that's been upgraded now with Myth.

people who hate and despise the game so much they pursue every possible venue to make sure everyone who plays it is aware of its admittedly many flaws just so they can have a feeling of superiority for 30s

this is after they've already arguably wasted more of their life on the game

well guess what asshole i listen to lady gaga too, no ansem, and sometimes i even enjoy it and other modern pop songs come at me bro

I can't believe I'm saying that, but I'm actually kinda missing NMs.

You know, when you logged into XI and didn't have much too do, you may as well went to camp Hoo Mjuu or Valkurm Emperor, or whatever for gil or some item for one of your job (or most likely your friend job). Now I log into XIV... Myth are capped, all the jobs that interest me have relic and are moderately geared, Coil is done/waiting for my set, what the fuck do i do? I'm leveling mining but I can't pickaxe all day.

These days I just sit in Mor waiting for people to shout Titan.. it's moderaly fun as a SCH and they always need a healer who knows teh pattern.

I miss NMs and I miss crafted gear being worthwhile for anything other then DoH/DoL classes because people will just zerg fate grind shit to 50 and gear doesn't matter (I did 15 to 35 in a bikini because w/e). Makes it so at end level, if you didn't go leatherworker/weaver/gsm as your 1st classes for crafting you did it wrong bro, since they craft all the useful shit and the good money making synths.
