I'm sure it could, Holy isn't essential.

You'd just need what any unconventional setup needs, smart people with decent gear. Tank needs to know how to manage CDs, DDs need to be geared enough to take mobs down fast enough, etc.

Adlo spam is about on par with Cure II spam and you have the fairy pitching in, not to mention Lustrate.

SCH's role is instead just keeping tank up instead of WHM's indirect "keep tank up by raping everything and then maybe a heal I guess".

To be fair WHM still has to do plenty of healing, Holy stun only works twice before everything resists and the tank is taking full damage again.

Depending on how much damage the DDs are putting out, you'll often have to drop cleric/holy for heal spam after a couple casts if things aren't already dropping dead.

With the rise of the sealed gate glitch, Holy spamming isn't as much as an advantage as it used to be.

Which I consider a good thing. The majority of my tanks can't handle my Holy spam.

Yeah one of our tanks figured this out on their own a little while ago. Trick is to stand right next to the purple shit, so even if they are awake, when it seals they are blocked off. I expect this to be fixed in the future.

Not sure what you're referring to.

You can get to the boss room and fight the boss, and the procedure is everyone stands in front of the door that seals off while you have a whole pack of mobs on you. Once the room is sealed, the trash mobs drop off your hate list and goes away.

You still have to kill the tonberries to open the door, but from what I can tell it's much faster and less demanding on jobs that lack the AoE power.

Edit: It'll definitely be fixed, but enjoy it while it lasts.

we really only do it on the second boss if unable to hit that last terminal without getting aggro. could probably kill those 2 shits faster than waiting but you know, trying to save a few seconds etc...

The reason you sleep/bind/etc is mobs will try reposition if there are a bunch of them next to the tank, and sometimes that will cause them to go past the purple line (because there's no more room directly behind the tank).

Two or three mobs are fine, but if you have an entire pull attacking the tank, some of them will probably move past the line.

Oh I wouldn't really call that a glitch, but yea a lot of groups use it for the 2nd pull before the first boss and ditching the 2 stragglers near the switch before the 2nd boss.

For the first door you only need to kill the stationary tonberry that's by the door, which should take less than 20 seconds if your BLM and BRD blow it up with their buffs. Sleep/bind the remaining 10+ mobs and then just run to the boss. I haven't done a speed run with a good BRD+BLM at the same time yet so I don't know how long the AOE pulls are supposed to take, but I don't see how killing everything by the first door could be faster than focusing on a single mob.

Yea it makes the 2nd pull easier, tank can just run them around in a circle while the DDs snipe down the tonberry, door opens, BLM sleeps everything on the bridge while the BRD activates the boss, tank stands at the entrance with the other tonberry (unsleepable) on the other side of the barrier till it activates.

It's pretty ridiculous that someone would even attempt Ifrit 30+ times for any of his weapons.

No offense, but in no way, shape or form is any of his drops worth all that time when it's only marginally better than GC or WP weapons.
Not to mention that doing WP also gets you your DL faster. And even then, there's a good chance you will replace any of them with a Relic not very long after.

No offense taken. It's one of those things where I didn't realize how much time I wasted until I was in so deep. I don't log on for long, so my mentality has been "I don't have time to learn a new dungeon/primal, so I'll do what I know". Two Ifrit fights, then I log off. But from now on I'll suck it up and make sure I queue WP/AK/Garuda every time.

Can WP be done with a SCH instead of a WHM? If yes how?& (SR)

I solo heal it with gigantic AOE pulls on SCH with a warrior tank super easily, SCH is much better than WHM in weak/4man content because of the damage it provides to speed runs up and how much MP regen it has as well as a pet that heals while it sits in clerics stance doing damage.
