Yes I am. I get into a static next week. Trying to do PUGs just to get some experience as a healer.

I keep running into the "I play way more than my FC does" problem.

pick ups on Excal have been making it to turn 4 consistently, it's pretty cool.

I like Aleport more than East Shroud for FATEs, but running far east for the lowbie ones can kind of suck if that's all that spawns. The one gob turn in can kind of emulate DD in terms of EXP, but obviously not as potent due to our toolkits and such.

Pretty impressive, but yeah, I expect the majority of legacy's to know how to play the game given their maxed everything prior to launch. I'm surprised there aren't more statics from forum-dwellers here on Lecacy servers.

Not really a complaint:

When I'm killing time in Rev toll and decide to gather clusters while waiting for stuff to happen, I notice almost no one using the crystal gathering skills at the nodes.

Are people just....stupid? I'll see them use gathering rate increasing skills, but only like 1/5 uses a ---'s Ward before swinging away.

I'd assume they just mean everything is easy as shit in decent gear regardless. It's still a good 6~8% DPS/healing boost or so in BIS gear but at that point everything shy of t5 is trivial anyway.

Half the time I just fucking forget to because GP regen is slow and the ability cost is so high. I'm more diligent if a node yields multiple crystals when coming up to it, but if not, yeah...

If you're only doing Clusters like most people do, which is what Niiro is talking about, you'd always have the GP ready.

We spent like 20 minutes just discussing the strat (wtf?). And every time we died, they spent 5 more minutes discussing the strat. In the 90 min timeframe we were only able to get 4 runs in.

That said when it they did stack up, a healer and bard kept dying.

Trust me, I know how hard that fucker hits when the fight first begins. That's why our Pld tanks him initially, and why I pick up the add and tank him right there while the Pld runs the original across the room.

Even with all my gear, I'm not raw tanking that fucker until the War buffs come. There's doing it the hard way, and then there's doing it the retarded way.

Trust me, I know what you mean, but if you're healing a Pld that's too stupid to use buffs to start and sits at 1200 HP, you'd be trying to raise a War that's too stupid to use buffs to start.

Late reply, but in my T1 PUG, the WAR actually asked to MT because she was having trouble getting the clone to the other side.

It actually went pretty well, and I think I prefer being OT now because as a PLD I can help the healers by casting Stoneskin on the tank as well as others who get slimed.
