AK is such a chore when you have a group than can run WP in 10-12 minutes. Moving at the "same speed" it will take my same groups 14-16 minutes to run AK. Yeah it's not a big differences but I also hate the bosses in AK a lot more.

Once I finish getting all the pieces to each set, fuck AK, place is shit.

Yea I'm basically done AK forever. There's a few more pieces of accessories I'd like but let's face it, they'll never drop. I'd sooner farm the T1 tokens to buy DL ones or meld some other ring x3-4. WP isn't so bad as it's a REALLY quick run and the bosses are a complete joke. However I'm at the point where I log in to do BC and cap my T2 tokens then log out for the week(and by this point capping T2 is just annoying). It really is quite boring. The rest of my time has been spent in dark souls leveling like 5 different characters and actually having fun with playing difficult content with different style characters. For a change of pace I invade on my lv 12 class in early areas and try to kill noobs by humanity sucking with dual dark hands.

To be honest, the downfall of this game is the completely foreseeable and repeating patterns every fight. There's no real fun, at least for me, when I know what's coming next. I might not know where it's coming(titan plumes) but I know when it's coming(repeating move set). Playing dark souls(totally different style of a game but let me say this) you're forced to 'read' an enemy and react. He could use move x then y then z, or xxy or zzx or zyx, you never know what's coming next and you're always on your toes. If they were to make these fights more random like this with more reaction time I think the game would be more fun.

Pretty much the point. If anything Ifrit plumes are harder to spot than Titan plumes. Imagine the rage if plds can't stunbot. It would be glorious... I live off the screams of those on the OF.

I don't understand why people have fucking obliterated the market/worth for Darksteel Ore and Gold Ore so wantonly (and the the things made from them) to the point where HQ Ores are going to be flirting with 600 Gil each (down from around 950-1,000 maybe two weeks ago) by the middle of next week.

Why do they hate money? All of these DoLs gleefully selling these things for less than than they're worth. I guess i'm pulling my shit off the market and waiting for 2.1 to have my revenge..

Supply and demand still doesn't explain when someone forgoes undercutting by 1g and just jumps to 100g. Or 1000g. People are still killing markets faster than the supply would initially suggest.

Apparently selling an item for 60-80%% the going rate will make it sell faster .... even though the demand is not fluctuating, i.e. it's a non-elastic demand and should have no reason to be undercut by more than 1-10gil --- or .5 - 1% of the going rate to get yourself in front).

But then I read the OF and realize these people sell things on the AH too.

Not quite. Might be more like sheer spite/malice, as demand grew in past weeks and the people in question nerd raged over "greedy" people undercutting by severe degrees (while undercutting severely themselves).

HQ Darksteel Nuggets and Rose Gold Nuggets went from about 12k, to an utterly dismal 5.5k in the span of a week and a half due to absurdly fucking retarded undercutting (and the markets never really recovered as a result of this seemingly ingrained stupidity).

This (although demand did grow). Also add in the wholly different nation-of-sale (and matching prices I guess), and yet the person whose price was matched will still undercut in response by a hundred or more.
