5 dps in titan, someone says "aa to build limit break for heart".

When you have to build LB on Titan it's time to give up. Sure it doesn't mean you're going to fail but DPS really shouldn't be that low so why make things harder than it needs to be?

There is a bug with the blacklist, where if you open it the delay in loading it allows messages from the people not loaded to come through, or something like that. Don't know if that's what you're encountering however.

Just had a relic tank in WP who never, ever kept hate, and never used riot to regain MP.
Once he ran out of MP he literally just stood there.

When he was asked to keep hate pls we were told to quit bitching pls.

Left instance cause it was before first boss anyway. So yeh, good times.

Already been mentioned in this thread... but the healer dps thread on the OF continues to numb the mind. Horrible tanks asking for healers to only heal. Horrible healers who only want to heal. Horrible OF people for being horrible OF people. Etc etc etc.

And then I'm doing AK on PLD.

We literally plow through the instance effortless and when we get to Anta, my gf makes a mistake with an orb causing a wipe.

Ok, shit happens. In the same fight though, the other SMN didn't have the patience to wait for me to put the boss in to place, so after we wiped, I ask that everyone chill out for like 5 seconds till the boss is in place.

he starts arguing straight away about how I should tank it so I ask him again and turn shield oath off (Cause I'm a dick and hoping he would pull it off me and die)
He obviously doesn't listen and starts attacking as soon as I do a shield lob.
I obviously don't bother to get it back cause I asked him, and the obvious response was that I suck cause it was garuda that pulled it off him.

I dunno. I play SMN and my Garuda doesn't attack shit unless I tell her to, but ok.

In the end I just went in to entitled mode and decided not to even bother unless he could chill for those 5 seconds. I have all night to do this.
He said waiting those couple seconds was wasting time, I said wiping was wasting more time.

But in the end, I was still the moron etc.

When I told him "You're not a good DD if you can't control your DPS" he said it was the biggest noob shit he ever heard.
it would have been something different if I was tanking it and due to my lack of an ability to tank I'd lose it or something.
But this was just a pull. Chill the fuck out till it's in place. We weren't speedrunning and I was just looking for some easy going runs with my GF in DF.

It's unfortunate that bads will be bad regardless of how long it takes them to level. There were a lot of instances in 11 ( And I would assume in other games ) where competent people jumped onto other people's accounts and were able to tank / dd fine just because they could do something simple like count shadows.

people looking for DF SR's are doing it so wrong, and clearly don't have any friends to do SRs with. DF is for when I feel like NOT doing an SR, and I'd imagine its the same for most smart people.


Also had a 50PLD in Brayflox this weekend. No shield lob, no flash, but spamming the dick out of RoH (the skill, not the combo) We made our sloppy way to the first boss and the whm and I just stood outside of gate and let him run in and die. He died, returned, ran in and we did it again. He repeated this about 5 times before finally getting the picture and leaving. It reminded me of those experiments with mice and cheese and electric shocks.

I have trouble deciding if this is more of a complaint (at SE) than a praise (I had fun), but I was bored so queued up for Titan easy mode. GLA ARC BLM SCH(me). BLM is kind of dumb with positioning and keeps standing in front of Titan (IE, landslide pointed at tank) and tank can't dodge (nobody can but meh, not like it oneshots in this fight).

So finally a landslide knocks the tank off right as heart is ending, I have highest hate but we kill heart ('cause so easy). I just straight up tank him the rest of the run. Tanks are overrated.

Half-complaint because
A) I hear a few horror stories of how this fight is so bad when a damn healer can facetank him
B) I just enabled bads to continue story ._.
C) Fights are easy enough to allow bads to continue even when they really screw up

I didn't bother with bard until at least 35+ or something iirc. The stat gain wasn't worth the loss of skills prior to that for me.
