You know where it's not useful?

When I have whatever spitmove at the end of AK from the boss, and I just want to get to the exit portal. And I'm heavied because of the stupid move, and there's noone who trained Esuna, and I remember I CAN REMOVE HEAVY.

Tempered Will does not remove that heavy. bc awesome. Longest 10 seconds ever.

Nitpicking but that's Disease, not Heavy. Disease is Heavy+the "cures suck" debuff in one.

Ugh,

Random groups who help people through titan for their relics even when those people are not even remotely ready for it.

For some reason they think they're doing the right thing and doing the community a favor or something, but shit. It's just more terrible people with relics.
I know I kinda sound like a dick or elitist here, and this isn't towards anyone who CAN do the fight but is just unlucky finding a decent group.

I'm talking oblivious people here who can barely do a proper normal AK run now applying to Coil FC/Groups cause they have a relic.

Sometimes people are just surrounded by really terrible people when it comes to Titan, and are not themselves terrible (in my experience it doesn't matter how good anyone else is: if the healers are bad at healing, dodging, or both the fight is basically torture). For that, I don't have any qualms about people helping or getting helped.

It's when people never learn wipe after wipe, faceplant at the bottom of the arena, etc that I say "fuck no stop carrying their dumb ass, please".

In all honesty, I don't think I've ever experienced fatigue hitting me that bad.

Huh? Fatigue was removed sometime by like 1.18

This a hundred fold. I will help out with carries for randoms whenever I can. Our FC will sometimes do it as well. But I've started to become a bit more vocal about letting just anyone into the fight. Healers are the worst problem when we don't employ our best DPS (because then we need three healers to cover the healer's most likely shit skill at Titan).

That isn't to say I haven't been very impressed by some "carries". We had a PLD that we carried while our FC pld tanked it and that was our smoothest fight we've ever had. No one got hit by anything nor did the "carry". I've had dps hold their own and a tank using just a GC weapon stay alive and hold hate. I have only ever had problems with healers. Obviously.

After carrying someone I make it pointedly obvious that they are not done with Titan yet. I expect them to keep going on runs and learning the fight while simultaneously gearing themselves up better. No carry deserves to sit through Titan once and be done with it.

Some derp at SE decides to start maintenance 42 minutes early.
In the middle of a random DF Titan run...
Myself and 2 DPS friends had just decided to do it on a lark...
And ran into a wonderful team of healers and tanks.
Titan at 10% and people start getting dc'd, lose BRD, and PLD first.... still could almost do it, lose the DPS, just a WAR and WHM alive and I get dc'd.....
Yeah, I haven't beaten Titan yet... But... dammit, so close...

So one of our BRDs in my coil static had PC issues, cant log on for a whole week; after a week he logs on once, and then pretty much quit the game. So this week we found a new BRD replacement, cleared turn1-4, then he pretty much dissapeared like the previous BRD, we had to pug a DPS for turn5. And now, I gotta find a new BRD yet again for next week -_-

Any BRD on Hyperion need coil group? haha

Shouldnt this be avoidable by keeping track of when the maint is?

It should be avoidable, yes. However they pushed the super-fucking-emergency maintenance button last night to deal with the market exploit. It was like an hour early (I think?) with just about no warning.

Can't zone into a DF instance and feel comfortable anymore when I see people in darklight gear because at this point everyone has it.

Did an AK last night as mnk, the blm in my group was so bad, had 6 ad spawns on psycheflayer, the last 2 were up at the same time. wiped 3 times on demon wall because the blm kept getting repelled off, that hasnt happened to me in months. after wall when the coffers are opened the blm says "need both, im here for tomes and gear."

i kind of regret it now but i dickishly said "you need more than gear my friend" blm says, "if you have a problem with how i play, get over it" "that's just what this game needs more elitist assholes like you"

so that set the wheels in motion to the tank not pulling until i left the instance. i'm sure when votekick is enabled my mouth will get me kicked out of a lot of groups. i got spoiled by running with FC

Fuck this shit, I had a decent market of Copper Gorget going on (1,2-1,5k each, and a lot of ppl buy 3 to pass Goldsmith quest fast), and then some dude comes and start to undercut me to 50%.

FUCKING STUPID.
