Hey...
Hey...
Feel like I'm in the vast minority if any of y'alls posts are indicative of the community at large. I run coil 1-5 on my main and 1-4 on my alt (she isn't geared enough yet to tank 5 and coil isn't dropping for me - need time to build more myth). I still feel like I have tons to do. With the patch coming out it's only going to get worse. I already am still trying to cap jobs and gear them... Now I need to do CT for all my alts (on both chars), get pvp gear (on both maybe?), extreme primal weapons (again on both). I'm not sure if I can do it all, which means I'll always have stuff to do.
Oh, and I don't hate fates either.
Pretty sure I'll be very busy until 2.2 at this rate.
hell i'm just getting into crafting and with the update coming in a couple weeks I definitely won't be getting bored either.
I'm not at all done with gearing even one job, let alone the 4 I have at 50 (three from 1.0, so). My point is running just two instances is lame. The content isn't "there", no, but the situation of it could be a lot better if they didn't put the entirety of it in just two encounters, with everything else simply being a stepping stone. For me, it's not about being done, it's about there being enough of interest to do. Duty Roulette will offer the tinest bit of relief to that, but there's so much more they could do. Sadly, I don't think they'll do it.
It feels like you're a "glass if half empty" kinda guy.
You're bored, we get it, please move on?!?!?!
Did Coil last night and T1 netted the Dragoon Body and Waist.
I have the Myth Body and Waist... thankfully someone had dragoon at 50. Currently I'm the only fulltime dragoon that shows up on schedule in the FC.
I understand most of the people doing coil have it down and get it done in what like an hour, maybe a little longer? I missed that bus and have 0 experience, no one wants to take someone with 0 experience, and I don't go into groups with 0 experience and say "yea I know the encounters, no problem, I wont be a burden." There are shouts for learning groups, but they aren't very often.
Usually when I have time to sit at my PC for a few hours uninterrupted, it's on the weekends. It takes no time at all to level jobs, and all the relic stuff is single encounters except for the one AK run, all this stuff I can do in like 30 mins or less if it goes well.
The only content im not utilizing is coil, and if im bitching about lack of content it's lack of "single player" content, there I said it, I like stuff I can do in MMOs by myself, I am the cancer killing mmos.
It's the random complaint thread, dude. Besides, the game has a lot of potential: I don't mind doing the same large pool (and the pool grows larger with time) of things over and over. Just not a fan of the same two things (and the two things just change with time) over and over.
It's something to randomly complain about. So here I am...randomly complaining...in the random complaint thread.
Just edited. If it beats DL (Highly doubt it) I wouldn't mind so I can get out of that ugly as fuck heavy shit.
Speaking of armor, am I the only one that finds the dye system to be a total waste since we can't dye R/EX?
I dunno, I'd like to be able to dye AF/AF+1 just because that neon blue on the DRG AF+1 helmet stands out like an eyesore for me.
While I think GW2 had more depth from a class perspective than XIV, the 'updates' that ANet churns out are pretty lackluster and often fleeting with little PVE content and endgame raiding that is nonexistent. Though they have commit to making the game better than the theme park currently in service, it's still better than what XIV promises in the next 6 months from a free MMO.
What I'd do for Fractals in my Realm Reborn or proper WvW.
They could at least make the highlights, or whatever you want to call them, on AF dyeable, like the red on White Mage AF. I personally don't even care if it was entirely dyeable, but I know people would QQ about being able to make WHM AF black or whatever. But yeah, everything else should 100% be able to be dyed.
What irritates me slightly more than the inability to dye most u/u things is that sometimes you can't find a dye color that matches the stuff you can't dye. Back when I was using Militia tank gear, the black dye available wasn't the same black that was used on the Heavy Darklight hands, so it was ever so slightly off. Once I bought iLv90 WAR head, I tried to dye the Militia body a red to match, but I couldn't find a color that matched that either.
Why isn't the dye system just 6 or so dyes, and you get to pick which gradient of the color it ends up when you dye it. That would allow them to add more dye colors without having to add a fuckton of new items.
