at least most Healer ACC arnt BIS for WHM or SCH so![]()
Our black mage has been getting pretty shafted for our group. Otherwise we've had a pretty good spread. OT needs more gear so all the drops besides Allagan Boots will automatically go to him. The majority of us though have been gearing our second jobs.
Our warrior for coil is currently sitting at 1266 mytho because there's really nothing he can do with it right now and it's so annoying. His entire left side is darklight, sans mytho hands. As you can guess we haven't seen allagan body or legs drop yet. Next week he can turn at least 2 of those slots into ilvl90 regardless of drops, and if one of them drops within the next two weeks he can turn 4 of those slots into ilvl90.
Timed perfectly with patch 2.1 if you haven't noticed. I can only imagine how big the difference will be on turn 4 with 4x ilvl70 -> ilvl90 and the buff.
AF2 body or legs + hoplite head or feet is a significant upgrade (the reverse, not so much).
Just updated my CC... why the fuck is SEs account management site so garbage? Mogstation has a bunch of pages that should let you change it but nope, gotta go to a completely different site first.
I don't know who made that list but 477 isn't capped accuracy for Turn 5 and even before that the bonus from food is wrong. Before food you'll have 515 VIT, 579 Parry, and 466 Acc. Apply the 3%/4%/2% boost to those and you get 530 VIT, 602 Parry, 475 Acc. You can't just assume you get the max bonus from food. Replace Allagan Feet with WAR feet and you'll only lose 6 Parry but gain 21 Accuracy which will help for any harder content that gets released later as well. Also need to beat Turn 5 before you can get helm anyway and getting AF2 Head + Feet will still keep you at capped Acc w/o sacrificing any main stats and only a bit of parry.
so what's turn 5 acc required for war then? 475?
Thought it was 475 for all physical?
I parsed 100% accuracy with 473 accuracy on turn 5 as a physical. We weren't making it past phase 2, but I should have missed at least one auto attack within 1-2 hours if I wasn't capped. I doubt the adds are a higher level than twintania himself, or that his level suddenly increases mid fight.
I'm 95% positive that coil turns 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 all have the same accuracy requirements and that it's no higher than 473 for physicals.
Since body/legs are 825 tomes and drop from turns 1/2, it's so hard to justify buying them. If you buy the legs and then they drop it's like wasting 825 tomes and you can't even buy the body. If you buy the the body and it drops it's almost like wasting 825 and you can't even buy the legs. We know that if he bought one of them already then it'd totally drop the next week.
I've seen whiffs on Turn 4 at 475. Haven't run Turn 5 on WAR personally but I would imagine it follows the same necessary requirement for any melee class and ~480 would be my suggestion. Granted you probably have near 98-99% at 475+ but when your survival relies on not whiffing an Inner Beast or making sure you keep hate with BB combos anything less than 100% seems silly. Even after 2.1 I imagine the Inner Beast buff will only be applied if you actually hit the mob with it so making sure you never miss is important.
Maybe I'm just exceedingly unlucky then, because I tend to notice several misses in Turn 4 even with around 475 accuracy.
You know that list is silly because he used finger sandviches as food. There's literally no reason to use two star food right now because we can't reach the stat amounts required for them to be better than the food a tier lower.
I don't know what you tell you. The parses show a ~99% accuracy on my friend's warrior at 464acc and 100% at 475 accuracy on turn 4.Maybe I'm just exceedingly unlucky then, because I tend to notice several misses in Turn 4 even with around 475 accuracy.
Perhaps you're mistaking something else for a miss?
The original point I was making was the spreadsheet assumed you would get the max benefit from food, which you don't. 2% of 466 is 9 not 11. Same with the VIT and Parry. I will concede I have my own biased opinion on what capped accuracy is and it seems my observations are wrong considering the large amount of agreement that 475 is the cap. I want to say I'm confident that I have missed with as much in Turn 4 but honestly I don't have a parse to back it up and was just eyeballing it so human error is entirely possible. For all I know it could have just been lag messing up my combos or some such.
While I understand the mentality, it's this kind of thinking that stops groups from advancing because they're waiting on drops that may never come.
Our group is bathing in tank drops, only 3 healer drops ever, only 1 of them was a left-side piece (head). Sure, tank body+legs could drop next run, or they could not drop for another 3 months, if ever.
RNG is bullshit, but it is what it is.
We also have only seen one or two healer drops. Belt and maybe an accessory. Our black mages are pretty pimp though lol, and our nonexistent drg has probably seen the second most drops.
He couldn't buy legs before because even with warrior legs + warrior feet he would have been below the acc cap. Bullshit problems with warrior and accuracy combined with rng bullshit and double slotted armor shenanigans combine to make the perfect storm.
my group's war have missed with 490 acc on twintania so idk
