Did he simply say he missed, or was there a parse to back it up?my group's war have missed with 490 acc on twintania so idk
Now we have quite a conundrum. Everything I've seen points towards all physicals having the same accuracy, so with me at 473 accuracy on twin for 1-2 hours and him doing turn 4 at 475 I should have seen at least one miss if it's not capped.
I'm yet to miss at 476, did you see the miss yourself Lucavi or only notice on a parse? Seems strange I've yet to see one and that cap (for T4 at least) is generally believed to be 472-475. Have to wonder if there's some error in the parse or it just puts you at something ridiculous like 99.95% accuracy.
Since we're kinda on the subject of BIS I feel its worth pointing out that this will likely be your entry gear in turns 6-10 in 2.2. Having more accuracy available to you then will be a good thing, so you wanna make sure you're prepared (either by overshooting a little now or having more acc gear available to swap to).
Just parsed about 2 hours of twin attempt last night. Last 30 min we were finally able to get past hygeia phase, and I capped acc at 472. Either I'm capped or I'm extremely close. Didn't ask BRD about his acc, but he had 99.60ish or whatever, with BLM at 99.70%. I was MNK.
He's got Allagan necklace and ring, Hero's ring, darklight bracelets, and we just got him rose gold ear cuffs for the acc this week. Warrior really gets fucked hard with accuracy due to the dual slot nature of tank darklight. He's got 468 acc now, 475 with food.Is your WAR wearing primarily Darklight accessories? You can make up a bit of accuracy there, particularly the ears since they have none, all without costing a single myth tome.
Since I now know that hoplite head+warrior body is better than darklight I'm gonna tell him to just buy the warrior body this week for turn 4 and use hoplite head. Then next week if legs drop he can buy the feet, otherwise he'll buy the head.
sometimes you lose a combo step because the game is a piece of shit, which can be mistaken for a miss
I don't even play WAR but make sure you have a parser to back up those "not 100% acc" claims
I saw the miss. I saw the miss a few times on ADS, which drove me nuts, but that was 472. I saw the miss at 476 on Twintania last night, although it was a SINGLE miss. I never missed any of her adds or conflags, but did miss her at 476.
I'm totally willing to chalk it up to fucking RNG; the same RNG that has only ONE healer drop out of at least 100+ coil drops for my group. None of this surprises me with this game.
Hard accuracy cap like in XI? /shrug
Am I retarded or is there some reason
/ac "cure" <p2>
shouldn't work?
I don't think <p2> actually expands to the second party member. I couldn't figure out what the proper <> for party members was, but I never pressed the issue because I don't have any moves that target a party member.
Not sure I'm qualified to nitpick since I rarely use macros in this game, but doesn't Cure need to be capitalized? I assume that's just a copying error, but it's worth checking.
Oh, it's also worth mentioning that YOU are party member zero, so P2 technically targets the 3rd party member in the list, given that you are at the top.**
**or at least that's what I gather with a cursory google search. I've never used any complex macro commands in FFXIV.
Crystal Tower Vanity set for DRG is absolute ass and worse than AK vanity set. Come on. At least the other jobs have some worthwhile vanity equips.
Natalan and Sylphlands come to mind. Jam-packed with mobs.
Though the guys in question here are pretty obviously bot claiming or something.
I hope you guys are happy btw. Getting his warrior body + hoplite head gave him enough accuracy to use his darksteel pants instead of his darklight pants.
Spoiler: show
I can't do anything with him without laughing.
