I had GLA at 50 in 1.0 came to 2.0 had no idea how to tank. :-/

Can't really blame them. By the time I find a DF on a DPS pre-50 my interest in the dungeon is pretty much gone. And I don't think there's a solid resource yet for giudes that isn't dated.

Anyway, idiots that keep blind inviting me to FCs.

Ditto. I had the benefit of first tanking Darkhold with (mostly) people I knew, so I didn't get too much flak for being totally garbage. Would probably not have tried if I had to expose strangers to my inexperience.

Might be too much to expect everyone to try to make friends or have even a remote desire for self-betterment though. I mean, we have people like this floating around and NOT just dicking around with friends. "Rude" is probably too strong of a word, but I hate laziness in others.

I can't fate-grind because it hurts my brain, but I feel this way about BLMs. I have seen ones that clearly don't have any buttons beside AoE on their bars. Have literally seen some that spam all AoE spells on 1 or 2 mob groups (you know, when you have to kill everything because DF gave you AF folks). Genius.

I went to AK with a tank friend as BLM the other day to Need on BLM ring after losing so many Greeds to people without THM unlocked. The second DPS was a relic +1, full iLv70 +1 BLM. He was casting Fire three times and then spamming Fire3. When out of MP he'd cast Blizzard until he gets UI3 and then casts Fire again. I thought he might be a misguided good player so I politely explained to him the basic BLM rotation. He said "I know" and left before the 1st boss.

I've run into BLM when I'm doing supposed "exp'd" WP SR runs as tank that.. then do a bad single target rotation when they are supposed to be doing AoE on the first pull. Then the next pull with the Tonberry at the door, they don't sleep and start doing AoE. Then they get mad when I tell them they are terrible.

Yikes, that certainly is a problem. Considering they do not provide individual responses, I wonder if there would be a better way to contact them. While you have to use that form to report bugs, it would be a bit of a bother if their system prevented them from directly answering, regardless of what kind of problem it is. Then again, it makes me wonder just which way you have to use to contact them in such a case.

SE has a piss poor way of handling individual problems. Not sure if they even have a support ticket system. The Support Center page they have set up on their site is more like a FAQ.

T2 with pugs is a goddamn abomination even with voice chat. Tanks just fucking fall dead randomly for whatever reason. Everything works fine (silence rotation/rot passing), but the tanks can't stay alive worth shit. What the fuck!?

I knew it was going to happen but still /sigh..... been doing ak since release too. (just do it off and on for a break from WP maybe once a week now)
