FFXIV Random Complaint Thread: Look forward to it

1) Wiped like 10 times last night in a PUG at 2-10% HP remaining using the T2 enrage method. Why? Because the DRGs refused to stop using Blood for Blood. Dead serious. Every single fight they would die within the first minute or two and it would be the BLM and me (BRD) effectively duoing until MP ran out.

2) In PUG for T1, I ask how we're doing loot, leader says "Everyone can greed." BRD ring and WHM earring drop; I greed a 98 on the BRD ring and pass the WHM earring. Lose to leader who lotted a 61 need.

Frustrating night.

Yeah it took me a whole month (duty finder all the way) in collecting every single AK ilvl 60 item just because. Sad they are bringing them down to 55. My complaint of the day is getting kicked out of a linkshell (after being a member for a little over 2 months plus helping out members from time to time without a warning) for commenting that Titan is easy... in bed. This quickly resulted in an officer meeting which swiftly resulted in my immediate departure. I would not read the spoiler tag if I were you.

I hope I don't get kicked out from my other linkshells or FC for making a comment. By the way... getting all 9 relics is so much easier than getting all the AK drops.

I feel so bad for our primary BRD guy, both because of the lack of drops and because it means he has to wear the AF2 clown suit.

One of the Coil groups in my FC has officially hit 8 Turn-1 BRD wrist accessories in a row. Ridiculous.

We have no melee in my coil and I swear all we see is MNK/DRG shit every week.

At least this week was filled with 4 tank pieces which were very appreciated.

DRG belt/earring has been the curse of T1 for my group too, some of that is obviously due to the previously broken chest with 4 items in it but even then, one of those 4 items was a BRD piece.

Last night we did get both bodies in T1 which was....neat I guess.

Unfortunately both went freelot (I won the tank body! Wanted to lot the DRG body too but I have AF2 body for DRG, which I regret buying every day -_-).

Obligatory complaint: Random DPS who stand in Landslide during heart phase and not move because they see me stand in Landslide and not move, not realizing that the shiny thing that was around me at the start of heart phase was Manawall, and then claiming that I was deliberately trying to kill them.

I have the opposite issue with tanks. They like to move mobs away after I cast Shadow Flare. My blood pressure rises, each time.

Tell me about it. 9/10 tanks I get are fine-ish and will at least gather up mobs in a predictable stopping point so I can pre-Shadow Flare. The other 1/10 just dart off somewhere else after I just put it down.

I brought up the moving thing because one PLD tried to move Tonberry King for that and ate like 3 of the anti-kite move in a row. Actually one PLD tried to move after every Grudge because he thought he needed to move to live and killed himself.

Sometimes its not that easy. With the way the leashing mechanics work and the way that mobs aren't allowed to clip one another, you will have mobs circle around the tank for no other reason than because they cannot find a direct path TO the tank with all the other mobs in the way. This results in the tank not hitting said mob with cleaves/ect., and the mob eventually losing aggro to other AOE, resulting in the tank either provoke/shield/tomahawking them mob or having to literally rotate around to reposition ALL the mobs so that everything can be hit, thus moving everything around.

Of course some tanks are just bad and don't know what they're doing, but watch any tank holding lots of trash in end-game content and you'll see the same random shuffling and repositioning at times as mobs walk right out of cleave ranges and circle around tanks. I always feel bad for my drgs and mnks who need to be on flanks and asses, but it is what it is; its better than having 3 random mobs run off towards the healer because of regen tic aggro because I'm missing my cleaves on them.

I feel compelled to say, I knew Emma Darcy from FFXI for a short time, before THEY were kicked from our Linkshell for not communicating an issue (Which makes your situation SO IRONIC). She was allegedly being harassed in a sexual manner from another player, but would not discuss what happened with the leaders, and they assumed she liked the attention so they kicked both her and the accused for being drama llamas. So this makes me LOLOLOL
