There is a difference between a "witch hunt" and "being called on your shit." Ambrosia's posting of her chat log with a nitwit of an FC leader falls into the latter. You will be finding most, if not all, of the mod staff agreeing with that assessment.

If you don't want to be called out on your shitty actions, don't be an absolute moron in the first place. It's a solid policy to live by.

Aside from Coil, I've yet to find an activity that needed a guide.

I mostly mean for jobs/etc. The PLD guide for example is amazing and I'd like to see something like that for other DoW/DoMs instead of having to dig through the entire thread to see what information is relevant and not a theory and/or dated.

Being bored in XIV (surprise, I know!) I went through my old console games for something to play. Found monster hunter tri and thought I'd give it a shot. Googled to see if people were still playing only to find that the online servers were shut down in April. Further looking found that they were trying to push people into getting Wii U and the HD version of the game if they wanted an online experience. Looked at the price of a Wii U and it's over $300 for the system. Half the price of a ps4/xbox one but still, why on earth would I pay for that? Even though I'm a huge FF fan (or used to be before recent years), I'm still not willing to shell out money for a new ps4 to play FFXV next year when that hits stores. I know there's people out there that love their consoles but really you're just paying for a specialized computer. Why wouldn't I take that money and put it towards an actual computer that could play games BETTER than the console could and I could also do work/school/email/web/etc. Really has me thinking where game companies are going. I'm basically to the point where if there isn't a PC version I just won't get it.

So I ordered Metroid Other M for something to do until patch hits. Still bored in XIV.

I love the series, heard the game was good/bad depending on who you ask but it was only $12 sooooo you just can't beat that.

It does some interesting things and $12 for it isn't terrible. But uh... go in with LOW expectations. No, lower than that.

Need something to do with my primal weapon collection and obsoleted Darklight pieces.

Gameplay was great I thought (completely different from Prime but not necessarily bad). Story was eh but I had a lot of fun playing it. There are certainly worse games you could spend $12 on.
