Not having at least GC weapon and full AF is not fine for anything, not even WP.

I honestly don't get why people in DF all want to SR, it's extremely stupid. Let's go with some (more likely than not) undergeared strangers and try to pull more than your shit tank can handle. Also, why are so many PLDs fucking clueless to AoE hate management.

A good healer can only carry a mouth-breather so far...

If the tank and/or healer have good gear, it doesn't really matter what the DPS are rocking as long as those two are on the ball. But I've seen SR attempts where the tank didn't even have DL and just got raped so fast.

Not getting your AF is just dumb and a sign of laziness. Unless you already bought up a bunch of darklight for your new 50 (I already have all mine ready for WHM even though its still only 42), and even then why wouldn't you do the quests for the story? They're either too lazy to do the story or they don't even know it's there, neither of those are encouraging to me.

As far as DF goes though, I think I'm on a different server group than you guys, but generally people who go into DF for me are smart enough to know not to expect speedruns from the DF. I get new players all the time when some of my LS friends and I can't fill out 4 spots, we don't have a problem walking them through it as long as they arn't dicks.

Should be doing the quests for the Job abilities at the very least.

^ This. Its a good idea that SE tied them in, but the average schmuck just FATE grinded to the top, in which case abilities aren't needed.

Wat? WP is piss easy, you definitely don't need full AF or the GC weapon to complete it even if the entire party is in the same gear.

We talking speedrun or just normal run? Because 2 horrible DPS (bad rotations, single target onry, and/or bad gear) while the tank insists on SR pulls is still pretty annoying.

I just mean that the only requirement for the strategy to succeed is a competent and geared tank/healer. DPS can do whatever they want, but obviously there's a limit to how retarded they should be.

In light of the above increase in EXP yield, link bonuses no longer apply in instanced dungeons so as not to affect enemy placement.

These fucking patchnotes. Everything I enjoyed and looked forwards to will be either nerfed or out of my reach. smallest housing starting at 20m on Sarg? seriously two days ago I did inventory and ended up with 41.5m, thinking it was all going to be ok. My old English teacher was right, never assume.
I guess rain of death nerf isn't horribad, but it's salt in the open wound from housing.

I don't know what to think :/ hashtag:brokendreams etc.
