The only FCs that SHOULD be able to afford this would be those who have sold Titan wins to shitty players. That's the only way outside of having only done DoH/DoL shit since day 1 and nothing but. At least, as far as I can see.

This is actually a smart move on SE's part. The devs likely saw how much gil some players/FCs are sitting on and are trying to drain gil out of the economy (seriously, one guy holding 70m+ on a NON LEGACY server is retarded). I still regret not riding the early DoH/DoL money train, but at least I got decent money from Titan HM runs before that shit dried up.
It's not irrelevant at all. Housing is a luxury unlike the repair issue we had at launch. You HAVE to repair stuff because that's how the game works but you don't have to own a house. Why is suddenly a bad thing to have a long term goal in this game? You guys (and I mean in general, I'm not pointing any fingers) were complaining that the game was handing over stuff and that there was no reason to play except for monday when everything resets and now you have something that requires more work than the rest. More gil is coming into the economy with treasure hunts, beastmen quests, dungeons, etc. and you can sell stuff to people that won't participate in housing (and with those prices I assure you many won't bother when the patch hits). I simply think it's funny that the complaints shifted from "I have no reason to sub because I only play one day each week" to "I can't buy a Rank 1 house when the patch is released, quitting!".
I think what most are bitter about is not the cost, its the lie. I could have saved up the needed funds to get a middle sized house myself if they had given us a figure like this. The fact is We where told "the middle size house will likely cost the amount of 3 FC members saving gil from lvl 1-50. This gave me the feeling that when I stopped storing gil at around 6mil(8 if you count my current spending money) was all I would likely need for the large. Someone did the math 1~50 off the main quest is around 400k gil, I really thought 15 times that amount would get me something LOL.
now I need to spend more time crafting as new content is out. I have not been on as much and lvling jobs I don't really give a shit about thinking I was more then set to have a starting point in housing for my small FC. This is why I myself am pissed.

If I mark #1-5, attack #1 not 2, and 4 because you hate odd numbers FFS.
I still do it in lowbie dungeons. D:
Marking takes .05 seconds to do. Either you're doing a WP run or you're just really damn lazy.
There is an ever growing number of tanks who like to stop at the beginning of a pull, draw their weapons, buff up, wait for buffs to wear, and then pull.
WHY?
I like the ones that ask if we're ready while buffs are ticking/wearing off.
Shield Bash still being on GCD. I have no clue why it annoys me, but for a skill that can only be triggered under certain conditions you'd think it would be on it's own cooldown.
You mean Shield Swipe? Because you can use Shield Bash whenever.
I would figure that since personal houses are meant to be one player's income, it should cost less. FC housing takes into account combined incomes of multiple players because unlike solo housing, it is a group venture. While FC masters might not want to wait for members to pool income, I don't see the value in only one person fronting the costs just to share the content with the people who refuse to contribute to it.
Grinding dungeons forever isn't my idea of fun. This game also has the worst economy of any video game I've ever played, and nothing is worth shit, so you either spam dungeons to spiritbond shit or spam kill weak mobs to spiritbond shit forever. I don't even consider Philo tomes mats worth anything when they sell for less than 10k each on my server. Titan carries are down to 100k on my server which isn't even worth my time when it's 100k split between 5 people. At least farming in other MMOs I played were fun because I could kill bosses and sell their drops by mercing them or simply sell the things they dropped, and killing them with a few people was fun. There was also plenty of bosses and not just a single boss, titan, that was worth selling.
So no, farming gil in the game with the worst economy to date with the most boring farming possible in a MMORPG is not a long term goal many people are going to give a fuck about.
