Are there any plans to remove the tell/whisper/PM restrictions when in dungeons? I don't understand the need to block communication like this, we are capable of multitasking. Granted some less than others.
Went into CT PLD pulls without warning, locks out some players, wipes raid insults everyone for wiping to trash mobs and leaves.
My first CT experience was half the party not knowing what to do because they were new, a few people full of themselves because they won the dungeon once and are now entitled to insult anybody that don't magically understand video game strategies, people not listening to basic instructions that arn't even restricted to video games like "come here", terrible players saying other people are terrible players, people being annoyingly passive aggressive in general, and not being able to do anything about it because you'll be locked for 4 hours after booting one person. I can't even really enjoy looking at/running through the dungeon beyond the pretty lava and such because it's just 3 straight hallways. At the end of like 90 minutes I get 50 myths when I probably could've gotten like halfway to cap in that time, and I'm not even talking about speedrunning WP.
2 of the biggest things this patch (housing and CT) and they have to go add all this stupid shit to make it as unenjoyable as possible. I have yet to do the Primals though, those should be good since I don't have to deal with fucktards and or insane content gating.
Not to make light of it, I mean there is a lot less space and different timing so it can be very misleading if you're very used to Titan HM, but Titan Extreme bombs are not that hard people. Stop getting hit >.>
Otherwise all the Extremes are just dependent on everyone in the party knowing the mechanics and how to dodge. So randoms being randoms these are all basically bad DF Titan HM.
Complaint: I don't know what extreme weapon to spend my tokens on.
I think it's even more funny that they further restrict chat in PvP (no linkshell/fc; can see it but can't respond until you're out). Like if they wanted to they could just restrict all chat channels in all instances to make sure you're "focused". So...
Farmed Garuda EX last night with a group of good randoms (semi-random, it was like a half-LS group that was filling in gaps).
Hours and hours of runs, wins, losses (people aren't perfect) and a grand total of 8 drops.
Been doing this fight all week and even after that marathon I have a total of 0 rings to show for it.
Dug an 8 man treasure chest, got nothing but gil and tombstones. Not that the drops were awesome, but did SE expect the map's owner to ask people for his stuff?
I've done CT a few times now and understand all the fights and i always try and explain each phase to just my party as the alliance chat usually has to many people trying to talk at once. Most of the runs have gone decent except for this morning. We wiped on first pull because the tank positioned both dragons so that tail swipe hit most of the group. Next after a 10 minute explanation of the Bone Dragon fight people just zerged skeletons where they spawned and wiped us again. We wiped twice on the Atomos phase because someone would always run on the panel before people were ready and spawn the giants. On King Behemoth there was a 10 minute bitchfest about who got to tank and who was handling a tower amongst the tanks before we finally pulled. After we thought it was settled we pull and shortly in we start taking damage and i look to see 2 towers abandoned. Next attempt same thing as the tanks just refuse to stay at their towers so i say i'll do one (bard). Finally get to last boss and after another 10 minute explanation we stil wipe to ancient flare with over half the alliance not on panels. We beat it next try but i think we had under 10 minutes left before the kick. I can understand people not fully understanding the zone when it's your first attempt but each phase was fully explained in detail and people still couldn't grasp the concepts. Even basic things like how to position mobs so they don't hit people with AoEs was absent. Was by far the worst experience i have had on this game to date.
Do a temporary suspension of the token. This same thing happened to me, the token never leaves my house and I just misplaced it, called customers service and they gave me the option to remove it or suspend it. When I found it I turned it back on.
Will they do this for 14? No clue, but if it's the same system I don't see why not.
I am now 0/13 on the tank pants from CT. As in, I still haven't seen them drop. I've passed literally every single other piece of the tank set already.
I hope this isn't going to be a repeat of AK where I had to do 70-80 runs to just see the bard head piece.
Omg, this is so terrible. One of the tanks in my last run faced his Valefor dragon right in the direction of the biggest group of ppl. Of course we got breathed and of course wiped. His accuracy was almost impressive, cause during the second attempt he turned the dragon around. Guess what happened.Even basic things like how to position mobs so they don't hit people with AoEs was absent. Was by far the worst experience i have had on this game to date.
