While true, it's wasn't really worth the money imo pre 2.1 patch. Especially since AK was the go to place to farm myth anyway.

Have to find an enemy and use Obey.

Make sure you use Heel after Obey (make a macro /obey /wait 1 /heel) otherwise she'll stay in place.

I'm sure it's been said a dozen times before but fuck FATE's for the daily beast quests. Standing around waiting forever for a FATE to pop is not fun.

Yeah but you can actually join one of them and get the item even if you don't have the quest. I already have the magitek thing in my inventory in case I get one of those.

Yeah unless you have time to burn and a job where the EXP is useful the FATE quest is a waste of time. As a 43 WAR though, I don't mind hanging around doing other FATE's and burning mobs. Usually pick up another 50k Exp in the process.

As for the dailies themselves, they're really intended for jobs at level 42-49, at least at the moment before I see what a change in rank will bring. See a lot of people spamming them on 50 and can't help but think of all the wasted Exp.

2. Make the iLvl a bit higher than default (split the jobs well so there's not too much loot conflict).

I think most will be doing it for fear of missing out on something good if the reputation does actually amount to anything. That's why I'm doing them. If I had a 42-49 job for them I'd use it, but I don't.

Also, more random wtf than complaint. Just did DF Moggle for MSQ and the Axe drops. The WAR Needs it despite him currently using the ilvl 90 axe you get from Extreme Primals. Guess he wanted it for his future weapon rack!

Annoyed how a few people can easily wipe everyone in CT by being dicks. Did a run where this party from the same FC I'm sure were there for end of the week trolling. They dragged bone dragon into the poison, weren't getting on panel at atomos, completely ignored napalms and the others had to slow their dps to get them to avoid wipe, and getting all the comets destroyed. Luckily they were somewhat tame during final boss, only thing they did was provoke our giant that spawned after flare, but I just provoked it back.

New people are better then these guys, because they actually listen! Oh well, at least CT is decent for spirit binding accessories, so even if people are retarded, I just make potential gil off it lol.

Honestly, the whole "Group A was here, Group C is a bunch of faggots" shittalking is the only reason I can bear CT. It's even better when it's over completely pointless stuff like which group killed Atomos marginally faster, or entirely baseless claims like blaming a particular group for not focusing Iron Giant fast enough on KB.

Watching people's insecure bickering and e-peen waving can be pretty hilarious. I think my favorite was the group claiming to be an 8-man premade that beat Twintania but wiped 3 times in a row on Atomos.

I think it's hilarious when some people are hellbent on main tanking despite being terribad. Did a run yesterday where there was a full ilvl 90 WAR with Allagan Axe and he had to do all the shitty OT jobs / tower duty because a 5.3k HP PLD MT'ed instead.

Queue times be damned, I refuse to go in there on PLD because I know I'll be equal or better geared than 99% of the tanks (because Allagan weapons occasionally show up which is what I'm missing D: ) yet still end up doing basically nothing all run because I can't be bothered having shouting matches with the other tanks in alliance about it. At least if I go in DPS I feel like I'm contributing.

I was farming Garuda for her weapons last night and had a WAR (who wiped us previously but I remembered his name) who insisted on main tanking. Luckily the PLD kept out threating him and he got the point to off tank (no communication was carried out beforehand).

At the same time, I always give choices to my co-tank (main or off?). I insist that if you're going to go in tanking, you go in taking some form of charge. Not sit there and wait til Christmas for someone else to "lead".
