As much as I agree that it's frustrating getting into groups where ppl clearly don't know what's going, why not try to help them out in some way? Or simply stick to doing things with your FC if PUGs bother you too much. I personally go into PUGs (not very often usually stick to doing things with my FC) expecting them to not go well as you get ppl who don't know each other's play style or someone doesn't know the fight quite so well etc.

I have not beaten it as OT but that was mostly because the main tank ALWAYS died for the reason you mentioned above. They didn't have the HP to deal with two dreds. They usually have 58xx > 62xx as well. Right now I have 68xx without food.

I understand if they don't feel confident OTing a fight but at least be close to the amount of HP the OT has before asking to MT.

I bailed on groups who couldn't get past the heart, but stuck it out with the ones who came close. Every time it came down to "lag" and a healer eating stacked Weights. On one hand, I feel for them, but on the other... I mean it isn't like Titan has a rotation and predictable pattern or anything. Worst part was the last group that was getting down to the wire's healer claimed it was their last relic to complete. Apparently they blanked on the sequence the other 8 times.

Not like you even need to remember the sequence, it's possible to just react to Titan Hard mode unless you're like a Dragoon mid-jump or something. I say this being someone playing on a US server from the other side of the world.

Maybe. All I know is I went to bed late, was up an extra hour imagining the fight while trying to sleep then dreamed of fighting (and losing to) Titan.

Trolls going into DF and kicking people for no apparent reason...asked a guy to stop running into groups of mobs, getting hit by bombs, and spamming <se.2>'s, I end up kicked from the instance.

Him and the PLD were together. Was spamming dungeons with a friend for a low level class. Definitely can kick with 1 vote. At least you don't get a penalty tho.

I'd imagine most sheeple see the kick window pop up and just hit yes simply because it's there.

Just failed 20 melds in a row that were 14% trying to finish my perfect goldsmith body followed by failing 3 melds in a row that were 41%. Anyone that knows math know what are the chances of that happening. I can only figure out that at 14% i should roughly succeed once in every seven/eight attempts.

(.86 ^ 20) = 4.897%
(.59 ^ 3) = 20.538%

Likelihood of them both occurring is 1.006%

I might be doing math wrong, but that looks about right.

I say this as a person with like 900ms ping: yes. i don't memorize shit every now and then i'll go "oh, look, tumults? plumes soon right? oh snap it's been a while LOOK SHE'S CHARGING DEATH SENTENCE BAM" i have never, ever encountered a mechanic i needed to 'predodge' or 'memorize' shit

edit: i just tested my ping b/c i remember during EA i tested and it was 900 but haven't since and now that statement is no longer true idk how computer works but was met w/ hearty lols when i said "900 thats good rite"

Perhaps not, though I have heard (never used the kick window yet) that the "Yes, kick" option is the default answer, and it's very easy to just click through it accidentally, just like when an unexpected teleport request pops up.

You give the player base too much credit, Day. And I do agree that with the latency issue with Titan HM being fixed it is a fucking joke. As a PS3 user before they fixed it I had to memorize that shit. It is still ingrained into my goddamn memory. I finally got around to doing my smn relic about a week ago and it was a joke. I was on skype just fuckin' off and bein stupid and didn't get hit once. I also am in Arizona.
