You give the player base too much credit, Day. And I do agree that with the latency issue with Titan HM being fixed it is a fucking joke. As a PS3 user before they fixed it I had to memorize that shit. It is still ingrained into my goddamn memory. I finally got around to doing my smn relic about a week ago and it was a joke. I was on skype just fuckin' off and bein stupid and didn't get hit once. I also am in Arizona.

Since I have single digit ping (lololol), has it been really noticeable/nice for people who aren't playing from where I am? Two of my friends started playing around 2.1 and they're about to start primals for relics, so I was kind of worried if playing from NA (to Japan) was going to be a huge cockblock for them.

I'm assuming you're talking about the stuff mentioned about increasing update times in endgame instances.

Old static dissolved, trying to form new one and there's so many bad players out there I'm on the fence if it's even worth it. Currently the game is more frustrating than fun because of how many people just completely suck at the game and actually act like they're good while shit and blaming the people they run with for wiping. Next week is the last attempt before I cancel sub (EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TWO MORE MONTHS LEFT).

Yeah this is the situation for me, although I'm less likely to cancel, I'm enjoying playing (and gearing) WAR too much. If you don't luck out and snag a decent T1-4 group early in the week on Tonberry you're pretty much left with the dregs for the rest of the week. Having said that I put some time into teaching some FC members Coil this week, hopefully the investment comes back to me. I have low expectations though because you know, randoms that I don't know IRL factor.

Really wanted to put some decent time into T5 this week, being held back by bad/inexperienced players is pretty painful.

Yep, wiped 70ms off my ping and has all but eliminated the post 2.1 rubber banding. After a bit of faffing around to find the best server that is.

Why not? Even with HQ level 55 feet it's an improvement on darklight. Unless you desperately need the ACC for coil, in which case the combo is still good for everything else in the game.

Had them drop 4 times in a row, been doing CT all week, yesterday it finally dropped the BLM Gloves (last piece I needed), not going to bother with CT anymore unless it's to cap weekly myth, queue as DD is long as hell, tanks keep canceling and sometimes it resets your queue making you wait another 30-40 mins till it pops again and when you finally get in... douche bags everywhere.

So yep, not going to bother with it unless I go in with friends.

Sucks so much, somehow I still manage to dodge titan better then 99.9% of the player base.

Still wtf se my lag was perfect 15 ms ping and then they go a fuck it up somehow.

Feel like crap I had to use the lag excuse for real last night lol.

My Coerthas map is littered with fucking exclamation quests. I don't have any intention on doing these annoying ass fetch quests, it'd be great if they gave an option to hide these things.

Do you happen to have Fios and live on the east coast?

Should never ever queue as a DD, just keep an eye out for PF groups.

Also, it's not a terrible idea to go as a job that can't Need the item you want, most CT gear hits the floor anyway.

It's a gamble, sure, but your odds are much higher thanks to people targeting specific pieces due to the weekly lockout.

Something that's bothered me from the very beginning but hardly at the forefront of the complaint dept:

I get that the moogle mail thing is supposed to be IX nostalgia, and it's fine for delivering items with little notes attached etc.

But just for simple messages, it's a stupid, needless pain in the ass. I shouldn't have to find an NPC just to send PMs to people nor should I have to go to an NPC to receive them. If I want to send a message like "we doing coil tomorrow?" before I go to bed I don't want to have to go to a town/camp and find the NPC to send the letter any more than I would want to have to go to town and find the NPC to receive that letter.

It shouldn't take longer to send/receive a message than it does to write/read it.
