but...I really do hope that the NA folks who are getting fucked just straight ruin this games reputation again. They went with Quebec for NA/EU to save money and be cheap instead of going Germany+LA/Dallas. I don't think they are prepared to truly fix the problem and it's only going to get worse on actual release (sans everyone quitting and then the problem just persists as usual).

they're just stalling at this point because nothing short of just adding more horsepower is going to fix the errors. There will be no miracle maintenance until later this week or the week after and by that time SE will be asking themselves if they were actually ready. In Japan? Maybe, but NA/EU? Not even close.

This is seriously out of hand now. I could deal w/ the beta cuz we didn't pay for it and it was a stress test. But now the game can't load the na/eu list, made a character in anima. Fucking shit man, i paid good fucking money for the pc CE and this shit isn't going right for any of us.

Been trying to get on midgardsormr which is not even a popular server for 12 hours, off and on of course. WTF. Can't they figure out how to do a damn queue? Or maybe kick people that are idle like every other game has done during high traffic times. I like the gameplay but this is ridiculous.

No problem getting on my legacy characters on a JP server of course. again wtf.

Had about 18 avaliable hours to play today... I got about 55 good minutes of non-instanced game-time. Couldn't progress story quests and couldn't really zone either. Just some crafting and HQing until the game booted me mid-craft (fuckers better not have lost my HQ mats in that craft either).

I'm tired, and this is stupid. I hope it continues tomorrow so IGN gets a first-hand look. I'm waiting for Gametrailers and the others, who completely massacred 1.0, to play early, before these issues are sorted out.

Someone, eventually, is going to get the launch thing right. They'll understand not to underestimate the initial rush of players that flock to the genre. Not this time, though. Blizzard gets a free pass with Vanilla WoW due to honestly not knowing how big the game was going to be.

A big part of Warhammer's failure was that they vastly overestimated the incoming player base and server load, so they put up a shitton of servers with a fairly low limit on per-server capacity which resulted in everyone spread out way too much over a bunch of realms that felt really, really empty.
