Yeah, that. Had to move a bunch of elements closer to the middle. The enemy HP + cast bar being miles away in particular became a real pain on Garuda.

I do the same because I heal a lot. If I could switch my UI between jobs I would get everything out of the middle for dps, then put everything back for healing.

Much easier to dodge when I don't have to move my eyes to see people's hp n' junk.

Dying to landslide on Titan EX twice because for whatever reason, my machine is lagging behind on loading the AoE coverage for just that ability, nothing else.

Dunno if it's because I have to sit somewhat close to the monitor where I play or I have terrible peripheral vision (or both?), but I cannot see anything on the edges without focusing on it.

I'm a bit in the same boat. I'm a little older now and I simply don't have the peripheral vision that I used to and it absolutely makes things harder. I've had to move UI stuff around a lot to find places where I was less likely to miss something important. It's frustrating because this never used to be an issue for me, but what can you do?

I have that problem, too. Playing on a shitty backup PC that really shouldn't be able to run the game at all. I just plain can't put real attempts into titan until I get my real computer back. It's just pure guesswork based on which way titan is facing as to where landslide is going to be. It sucks.

Random complaint of the day: The fucking camera in this game. My God, how did they manage to get the zoom so absolutely fucking wrong? Just keep the camera zoomed out at whatever distance I set it to and let the fucking thing clip through any walls that it may be "positioned" behind. IDFC if I can now have the camera reset back to it's set position after it's done doing being douchey - there is NEVER a time when I want the camera zoomed in so tight that the only thing I can see onscreen is my character's pancake of an ass. This goes doubly so for anytime the fucking camera does this mid-fight, ESPECIALLY when I get positioned into the corner of a room/corridor with a low ceiling.

FFS, I can't remember fighting so hard with a camera in a game since Mario 64 almost 20 years ago....

I can't update this for PS3 worth a dime. Tried 12 times on 3 separate reinstalls. Decided to reformat the entire HDD and restore the PS3 too just in case. Was a tough decision but I don't want to wait until the PS4 version. Hopefully I can finally get this to work after format. -__-

The problem hasn't had any real solution, so I don't know what's going to happen.

Going to miss our BC static times this week so I tried going with a party finder group. Wiped 7 times to ADS before quitting. The turn 1 version. Is this really how the other half lives?

I tried a pickup Turn 1 (only Caduceus) once. The dragoon kept dying 1 second after the pull (not even exaggerating, he just died instantly, I guess he just ran head-first into a swipe), one of the WHMs running out of MP before he even splits and then implying I'm bad for not ballading (lol), offtank feeding slimes at 100% and getting hit by everything possible when he does it, etc. I don't even know how it's possible to be so fucking horrible at the game, it's not even just "we don't know this fight" sort of awfulness because the first time I did Caduceus at least my group could last until well into the split.

People are unable to grasp even most basic concepts like "kill adds", makes any pickup just a test on your luck.

Highlights of my last week in this game:
- Wipe to Garuda ex beacuse a smn couldn't stop his pet from killing the plume
- Copperbell Mines first boss is the new twintania
- T4 "exp'n'geared" pickup that can't get past phase 3
- Maiming coil of Bahamut
- Onion Tower
- Tanks (4 of them) fighting for Thanatos hate while succubi are farming healers
- Bwaaaa same party can't have Behemoth tank and Iron giga tank

Stupid people aside, leveling new jobs that take months to gear thanks to lockouts or useless crafts because everyone has everything at 50 is not fun and coil by itself is not worth the sub fee.

Sturgeon's Law, I'm afraid. 90% of players are shit. This also applies to the "experienced" "farm" parties that demand unrealistic item levels and threaten to kick you for fucking up.

On that note, tried Titan EX the other night with such a leader. Some kind of three strikes and you're out thing. Naturally, the leader died three times to avoidable stuff and didn't kick himself.

Got a good amount of neat casting gear for BLM but a lot of the time I just find BLM so boring (and annoying in fights that require a lot of movement) but my SMN is going to be perpetually -30 INT handicapped because I'm the SCH in my coil static.

Getting max rank with Sylphs didn't offer any kind of new max level dailies. I was kinda hoping there would be a final tier with additional gil/tomes, but nope.

I do T1-4 PUG weekly and might wipe once or twice on a boss but other than that don't have any issues.

If the tank runs over to help with the Gaol really early on Titan can be positioned at a weird angle where it's hard to tell where his center is relative to you, even more so because of the animation and because you're probably not able to see the target circle around him because you're targeting the rocks.

Turn 1 ADS is literally the hardest boss in the game. I have never killed it yet killed Twintania 6 times so there's proof.
