A big part of Warhammer's failure was that they vastly overestimated the incoming player base and server load, so they put up a shitton of servers with a fairly low limit on per-server capacity which resulted in everyone spread out way too much over a bunch of realms that felt really, really empty.

My toon I use when not able to log in is also on Ridill. Have an LS or FC or anything that actually talks? Shit's boring.

While it wasn't a perfect launch either, GW2 at least built in a way around "full" servers by dumping people into overflow servers until there was space to shift them to their actual server. That was a year ago. It's not a perfect solution, but it'd allow people to at least be in-game doing something, and presumably making accounts on the servers their friends are on like they want to.

Yea Excal shit itself. All the other servers I tried gave me 1017 but Excal gives me 1016: Cannot find World Data.

Yeah & from what I hear people on Excalibur who were in an instance didn't get kaput so it's deffo just that world for 1016

The lodestone doesn't display my 3d character properly. It says I'm on Archer lvl 11, but I'm lvl 13, and it shows me in my lvl 20+ PGL gear, which I haven't worn for several hours.. =/
