Monk continues to DPS as our shitty ranged DPS are unable to kill the Platinals on the Bone Dragon fast enough so we wipe.

I proceed to explain this to the Monk. Vote kick is rejected for him. I am then kicked afterward.

Fuck the people in this game sometimes.

Running Darkhold yesterday in order to do the Gridania GC rank up. Get a tank that starts the dungeon off with "I can't tank well, but we'll manage." Great start.

He has the same HP as I do as a 46 SCH and really can't tank anything. He tries to Cure himself for hate, doesn't use Flash at all, and never even tries to get the 3+ mobs that are attacking me. After three pulls we Vote Kick him. We replenish ranks and get him again. I tell the party I'm going to Vote Abandon if we get him again. Sure enough....

I ended up tanking every mob in the room with the first teleporter/unlocker thing. That's like 8 mobs attacking me. I did so a hell of a lot better than he did too. I wasn't even close to dying or running out of MP.

Why the hell are they allowing people who were just kicked from a group back into that same group? Where is the logic in that?

Likely going to post a picture in fail thread when I get home.

EDIT: FOrgot to mention he was lvl50 PLD synced down to Darkhold level, the same as I was. He had almost full HQ Militia Gear (ilvl55) with only the hands and feet being PLD AF.

So you waited 30-ish minutes for his duty finder penalty to come off and in that time no one else joined? o_O that's some shit, I would have just left after 20 minutes of doing nothing.

Vote-kick doesn't apply penalty, which is the complaint in the first place.

Vote kick doesn't impose DF penalty (hence the complaint).

I'm glad they don't tbh, don't want her wasting time healing something that can die without causing issue and is much more efficiently healed by the master anyway.

Specific example was Stone Vigil waiting for a tank to pop in, so I have to juggle keeping supertank Eos and Titan alive.

If the SMN was using Sustain on the reg he should have been fine I'd imagine.

About the kick not giving CD, a system like WoW would be great, like whenever you accept a dungeon duty it automatically puts you on 15 min cooldown which will automatically reset if you clear the dungeon. Leaving dungeon gives 30 min penalty, getting kicked gives whatever timer left on the initial 15 min cooldown.

hahahaha I was in the party with you on my mule. Naomi Hunter. And yes you did amazing at tanking. I looked him up after our run as well and was shocked to see he was level 50.

That's my experience for every duty roulette that picks Pharos Sirius... Not only tanks but mostly them due to quick queues I guess
