First healer body in 3 months dropped. Our WHM lotted, everyone passed (a couple exited also) but it floored for some reason. Apparently this is not an isolated incident as someone said there's reports of this happening on reddit, specific to turn 4? Sucks either way.
Whats with the 90k drops? I finished T4 for first time on Saturday. Loot drops, and I was MT PLD, and bam, bracelet of fending.
Hit need. 90002, reconnect, I hear the fanfare music. I dont have the bracelet. I ask around, no ones saying anything and leaving.
20 mins later I see the other tank, and he's not wearing it. I asked if he won it. 3 mins later he replies yes and is wearing it.
Almost seems like he thought he didnt win it and it defaulted to him since I was off. Also was somewhat suspicious that I get dc'd mid roll.
How does the game handle that?
16 weeks or so and no casting legs, pass that shit this way. We had 90k error too on Monday, I got kicked off for like 30min. Later that day after T4 when we went to get our practice in with T5 the WHM DC'd and couldn't get on for a while. I'm chalkin' it up to Mondays are always crazy as fuck
My group floored an Allagan BRD body because everyone kept assuming someone else wanted it to the point where everyone passed or left.
We never saw the drop before but everyone that really played BRD had AF2 and anyone else that had BRD leveled wasn't really serious about the job, it was just a very brief series of comedic errors over mumble about "na I don't really need it/me neither/I'll pass".
Public service announcement for healers: If you go into high-level Duty Roulette and it gives you an ilvl-53 PLD who has never ran AK before, an ilvl-60-ish DRG, and an ilvl-90 BiS-except-T5 BLM, the BLM will be tanking most of the time. Please look forward to it.
I want to add too that shitty healers on Ifrit Ex. The fight is not hard dude, esp when the PF comment was labeled as farming runs, please have previous wins. The SCH kept creeping too close to me and I'd get hit by their sear and on the last Hellfire he ran into the group
I should have been clearer. The complaint wasn't that the healer was bad, the complaint was that the healer bitched constantly about how I shouldn't be taking hate.
I'm sorry, but it's AK. It's not like the mobs hit that hard. I'm not going to sit there and cast once every 10 seconds because I happened to get a fresh-off-the-boat PLD, when I know that Manawall/Manaward/Virus/Lethargy/binds/sleeps/the kitchen sink will let me nuke and tank with no more curing support than what the PLD would have needed.
I think he just couldn't get his head around the fact that a BLM would consciously choose to tank, and that this was the right thing to do given the party composition. His fingers obviously adapted - he did in fact keep me alive the entire time - but his brain did not adapt.
lol just did a titan ex with a 6/8 fc (not mine) group. Me and the other non-fc were brds.
Doing the fight, everyone getting hit 'cept me. Get titan down to just before second superbomb, everyone explodes by plumes but me, a tank, a smn, and a healer.
Obviously didn't kill superbomb in time.
Tank says afterwards, "Bards, do NOT use BALLAD twice." Apparently during the like 3 times that a healer had to be raised and mp buffered we accidentally both had ballad up. THIS MUST BE WHY PEOPLE COULDN'T DODGE WORTH SHIT.
Bards, the new scapegoat.
People watch ballad like a damn hawk for some reason I swear... if people paid as much attention to their own shit as when my ballad is up they probably wouldn't be complaining about stupid shit.
Housing item limit is such shit. 150 for a medium is so not enough to get really awesome and creative all over the house. Can only imagine the pain people for those who bought large house. Don't understand an item limit to begin with, but it they HAVE to have one, at least make it realistic
Played the "how many tanks can I go through on a roulette dungeon" game yesterday.
Answer: Three
Three different tanks joined and left Halatali yesterday, for ZERO reason. One DC'd, one left right after he joined, and the third stayed.
I hate people.
Not true. I've actually had my last 2 weeks of titan kills be after the 2nd superbomb>jump>landslide and still beat the enrage timer. I believe the enrage timer isn't just a 2-cycle thing like people thought, but that it just generally syncs up with that point for groups that are slow enough to hit the 2nd superbomb. If you push the pre-final stages fast enough, you have a comfortable 20-30 seconds into a 3rd cycle to kill it.
