This. Being forced to DF it is SUPER annoying. Went the other day to try to duo Chim it and realized we couldn't, like, what's the fucking harm in leaving Chim there?

Had a guy join PT and call OT as WAR. Ok, fine. Full-time Defiance, never used Wrath stacks, when I asked why he's bad, he answers "lol i like the crit sorry". Oh and he has Allagan axe and this is his primary job and did 116 dps and also let the spiny explode because I went to 3 stacks. Though he did beat the Allagan spear drg in damage...

"Low-manning" Chim and Hydra was fun. That's a shame they killed it.

It's bad enough we still can't use our chocobos for instances but not allowing us to enter non-CT instances with less than 8 people is seriously just retarded.

I assume that Hydra and Chim take an instance spot (probably even the pre-DF versions). It would suck to be locked out of the fight because a bunch of people on my data center are trying to low-man it. I don't know how many instances they have reserved for those fights, and if the above scenario is at all likely to happen without the restriction, but it's likely to be the reason behind it.

Finished my MNK BiS last night.

I realized I now have zero reason to play the game anymore. Can't even help friends cause of lockouts. Frustrating.

2.2 needs to get here faster.

I stopped caring about BiS when I noticed how similar all the 90 pieces are. I was shocked last night when allagan casting boots dropped and the stats were identical to the myth boots I was wearing. In general they do differ slightly but those extra stats are insignificant once you have enough accuracy. Though I'd be happy to be proven wrong with calculations, might make me care more next patch. I just feel nothing in this game requires the extra DPS I'd get from such a tiny improvement. Having said that my FC wiped to Titan at like 99.9% last night...

Dropping accuracy to get 12-14 crit points instead is 1% crit! If that doesn't make your heart race then your true self/spirit animal/zodiac sign is not DPS. If in 2.2 SE came out and said "hey greased lightning/skill speed now affects auto-attack speed" I might have a heart attack (of joy).

Well, I knew there wasn't much else to do besides Coil but after 12 or 13 weeks or no dorp, I got the dorp so... now I'm really done. Nothing to do. Not even Coil.

I leveled an Alt and after I get Weapon that, that shit's done too.

But leveling alts is cheating and infuse counterfeit gil into the game. The OF told me so!
