Srsly. They really got on my nerves when they started spamming tells to everyone in RT. It's not that fucking hard to write a basic flood detector SE.

It's sadly amusing to look in the DF and see a bunch of "Need > Greed" EX farming parties with 4 dps 2 healers and no tanks sitting there for almost a full hour.

Protip: tanks are the most in demand class, any of them that wanted tank accessories have long since gotten them.

(nvm that the tank primal accessories are kinda crappy)

So I've been away for a long f'n time, how's everyone been?

I've been playing FFXIV relentlessly and I'm reaching a brealing point chasing after these goddamn luminaries

For some reason Mining luminary was easy to get, Botany was more of a relaxed, I'll get there eventually kind of method, but Fishing, my god, Holy hell, will it really take me 150 hours to get this goddamn gold fishing rod?

I can fish up roughly 100 per hour, with the amount needed, it looks like it will take a fucking eternity to get
Doesn't help the fish don't sell for shit in the lower spots until you get to the higher level one, but you wanna grab the sharks (Shark Oil!)

Seriously in a 3-4 time frame I can farm up 30+ stacks of Button Mushrooms and make gil for time invested, fishing feels so empty, I mean I had to vendor like 95% of the fishes so far, I'm @40/150 hours so far, almost done completely with Thanalan

this is the reason why melee tanking in 11 is a godblessing. i dont care how much they tweak enmity, as long as melee tanking works i dont give a shit

Melee tanks came around 2007 (for good shells) and never looked back. PLD was an add holder.


Greed parties are a godsend. I prefer to tank in 14 but as stated above its pointless since my WAR and PLD are capped minus a couple coil drops. I hop into every greed only party I can, especially since most will let every person pick a single item.

SE should really allow the party leader to control the lot system. Need/Greed/Master etc. Just to eliminate that one troll who will need his job item no matter what.

So we did T5 today with a random bard because a static member isn't available, he told us he cleared it before joining our party, fast forward, we kill it and he starts typing "aaaaaaaaaaaaahh" and that he lied and it's the first time he clears it... Well, he didn't mess up (besides doing 155 dps) badly, but it fucking sucks when people lie to your face like that... it was basically a carry.
