I can see why, people buying them because it's fixed gil and better than losing it all. But I lean more towards Niro's thinking that materia is the better investment if going down the convert all to items path.

Though I do question how anyone can have 99 gold allagan currency...

As someone who's still holding onto every single one I've ever obtained, having never sold any in hopes that I could scalp some server-hopping sucker, I have around 67 of them, if I recall correctly. I feel like you'd have to pinch some from an alt, or buy/trade to fill a full stack of 99.

Why is the "server time" GMT?

Wouldn't it make sense for it to be either the time zone the server is in (EST) or the time zone all of the server's notifications go by (PST)?

Honestly my favorite setup when doing Brayflox runs is WAR, SCH, MNK, BLM. Fastest clear time was 6min 52s because we some how saw a LB for the second boss. I can't fathom what prevented you from throwing up a PF to get a BLM for your group before going, rather than praying for some god that you get one in duty finder, you seemed to have brought everything that happened upon yourself lol but then again I can understand why.

Same. If you're doing it right, you should have an LB just in time by the end of each boss.

My strategy (from MNK POV) is basically just pull everything to first door, MNK uses PB + Buffs + Rockbreaker spam (Also possible to just get the key, unlock the door, and lock out the rest of the mobs but it makes the first boss slower as a trade off since no LB). LB first boss. Kill everything with standard MNK rotation up to second boss. LB again on boss. Throw up PB + Buffs + Rockbreaker spam for room right before final boss.

Take last boss to 15~20%, use Touch of Death and animation cancel it into Limit Break as it's gearing up for last round of bombs. If you do it right, it should die from the LB or during the animation of it shooting out the bombs completing by passing the end of the fight.

On Topic/related: The amount of MNKs who do not use Perfect Balance + Rockbreaker liberally to actually clear packs quickly in dungeons like this. I swear I'm the only one I've ever seen actually use it more than once in a dungeon. You have invigorate for a reason and it's not a long cooldown. Use your damn skills.

You can pay for them separately, FYI. I paid for my six months, then paid for retainers when they came out. You could circumvent the crysta cap this way I imagine.

Yes but then you have to cancel your retainers in 6 months in order to renew.

For the record, my wife changed payment method perfectly fine, so I think that pretty much seals the fact that my account name doesn't match my card name.
