You can't use any other mounts but FC choco when your chocobo is out.

Had a DRG in mostly Myth/Coil body/Zenith who wouldn't have Heavy Thrust up, barely RoT, and didn't do the full Chaos combo, just Chaos Thrust itself, then 1,2,3, Full Thrust combo.

I died inside every time I heard the Chaos Thrust noise.

Suddenly I feel less gimp over the fact that my DRG eats Headspin more than it should in T4. I mean, taking a bit of extra damage versus not keeping Heavy Thrust up or using a decent rotation...

Also, fat chocobos are the new Carbuncle. Everyone and their dog will have one out for the first little while after release, then it'll die down to more acceptable numbers as time goes on.

All GREED farming party in JP server always has mirror only locked to 2-4 people. Mounts also count as an item.

Saw a BLM doing a T2 PF, Need>Greed. Caster's legs locked. All the other dps slots were non-caster jobs.

Also having played some GW2 for about a week on and off, it made me detest XIV's lack of auto-tracking for skill casts even more. I shouldn't have to mash face-target.

If he's looking for caster legs in turn 2 he might be there for a while even lotting uncontested

You'd be surprised. They're preying on people who don't realise just how bad the drop rate is on that thing. Though anyone capable of killing Leviathan should be aware of the terrible drop rate.

That's certainly how I plan to run them after I've got the two weapons I want. It's even a good idea until you get your weapons, so you can have a better chance when it drops.

Some people will only want the mirror (i.e. done with weapons), some people will still want weapons and be happy to give up a chance at a mirror. It works to the players advantage both ways.

If I didn't have the weapon I want I'd still be lotting on a mirror over the weapon I want if I joined your group. The mirror would just have to sit unused until I got the weapon. You'll not have much luck with this plan as the kind who will be fooled by this are going to be those who haven't cleared yet and ignore your farm tag.

Right so once you've got your mirror in that example, would you be happy to give up mirror lotting rights on subsequent runs to get your weapon?

Normally in farm groups when I get my item I don't go and pick another item because that's unfair on the others who are after the item, so if it were the same group I'd probably pass on it. Different group or loot reset, I'd opt for another mirror over a weapon. I can make use of at least four of them before I stop caring. Weapons are so easy to get I'd never worry about being able to get one. Chances are I could leave your group, join a proper farm (greed weapons, need mirror/mount) and get it within a couple of hours.
