Why does /facetarget only SOMETIMES track the mobs movement -__-
The keybind always tracks the mobs movement for me. Are you moving or rotating your character after /facetarget?
I use a controller so it's not a keybind, I just put /facetarget in my Lethargy/Virus or Raging/Quelling Strikes macro and hit it while casting.
It generally fails if the mob is passing really close by, I'll be tracking them but once they get too close it just stops and the spell fails.
I can kind of see the reasoning for this, but I learned to tank a few of the ex primals specifically because I don't trust pug tanks to be able to do it properly, in most cases DPS is easy, so I prefer to fill healer and tank slots with people I know I can trust to not derp all day errday.
Start leveling mule on Tuesday. Get 50 on Thursday. Beat t7 on Sunday. Reason its random complaint is because I spent several months getting my other two characters geared up and it took me less than two days to gear up a mule.
The ERSB/SE splash screens. How many MMOs don't just take you straight to character select after confirming your log-in info?
SE needs to stop reversing WHM and SCH stats on weapons.
see: EX primal and Levi weapons -_-
The only endgame SCH books with crit on them are Allagan and H.Allagan.
That you have to be a pld to get credit for the mount stuff, you can't be a gladiator.![]()
Disappointed you can't troll PUGs? :D
Idk why they even allow people to use classes in end-game DF, they know full well no one does or should use them.
I once saw a GLA in CT a long time ago in full DPS gear with Allagan sword (he wasn't in my party), I can only assume he was dicking around because tank jobs have no queue time anyway (he either left or was kicked after Thanatos).
I was doing T4 runs with my fc at 1am and we needed a tank. I leveled up gladiator because it was the only class that could equip daggers, also because a tank would be good for queues. I didn't want to play a class with big two handed melee weapons (marauder/warrior) and I have no interest in ever being a paladin. The only things that pull hate off me are other tanks and bards using all their cooldowns (except quelling, of course) at mob spawn lol.
You're just jelly that I can pop blood for blood and featherfoot while tanking for maximum mumble laughing.
When the whole raid only requires two tanks total I don't see why at least one in each group can't come as their class and just DPS.
Sword Oath "increases the potency of AA by 50", right? The str bonus for the job is about ~20 points. The skills you obtain access to that can increase your damage output are blood for blood (+10% damage, 20s, 80s); Internal Release (Crit+10%, 15s, 60s); Raging Strikes (+20% damage, 20s, 180s); Fracture (action, 100pot, 18s20pot, 80tp); Straight Shot (action, 140pot, 20s crit+10%, 70tp); Invigorate.
I wouldn't outright say that PLD definitely does more damage than GLA. I'll need to check out some parses or testing before I pass judgement though.
edit: With the break blade my auto attacks were doing about ~70 while my savage blades were doing about ~100 on some trash. AAs are therefore giving me about 32.4pot/s, sword oath would bring that up to 55.6pot/s. The standard 123 combo is 610 potency, which is about 82pot/s with negligible skill speed. Scorn is 100pot, 15s30pot, 25s; Shield Swipe is ~84pot/s. It's not hard to imagine a gladiator putting out as much as a paladin. If nothing else, you have more burst potential.
Pretty sure GLD only loses VIT, not STR, but I think people are overselling Sword Oath (it's an additional AA of 50 potency, not a 50 potency increase to every AA, but it's basically the same thing) and underselling how much the STR loss going from WAR to MRD is.
Both are probably better burst damage than their job counterparts are. Seeing those 700-ish Spirits is always fun.
