It's pushing some of our group to the edge too. Finally making decent progress last night, like 20%ish and peeps still got their panties in a bunch. Such a frustrating, unforgiving to 1 moment of derpage fight.

What killed us on our run is healers didn't repetrify the old renaud, they pet the new one and the old one unpet right as leah's shriek went off.

Played it back a lot in my head and it was just a shitty situation.

What sucks about it is like, I know we have it, but now we need to rotate in our usual healer who is 12 hours of practice behind us and hope we don't lose our SMN to vaginal issues.

It's frustrating on like Levi when stupid BRD has made the party so no other BRD can join, but I already have the weapon so it's just like wtf yo, fuck ya then. For some reason I see this ALL the time on Cactuar, BRD's must love starting parties for Levi or some shit.

Well the levi bow is by far the best weapon from that fight.

I want to join in the Turn 7 QQ fest. My desk probably has a forehead sized indentation now from people doing random things that cause a wipe. I'm not perfect by any means, but when a DPS fires a voice across the arena when they literally have 2 jobs (shoot mob and turn around), it gets frustrating.

Need>Greed parties are typically really bad because people are on their 5th or 6th job.

Greed, lockout, etc type parties have a much much much higher success rate.

That being said, lockout parties are dumb. Think my preferred type of party is 'pick 1 job to lot on', or 'pick 2 items to roll on (no lockout)'.

Right now there is a T2 Enrage party that is looking for 3 Healers. They've been looking for 55 minutes, and it's like, really early for NA players.
You're literally looking for 3 people who want to gear a Healer but don't have Head or Neck, and are practically guaranteed to roll against 2 other Healers.
OR you could do a Greed Party, let everyone pick a couple items maybe, and you could quickly find 2 [or in this case, 3] Healers that might actually have gear and want other things.
Also Enrage sucks but that's something I've come to just expect in PF.

The fail here is taking 3 healers. Really not necessary -even in PUG. I hate greed parties unless with people I trust. I'm just sensible about locking down how many of each job/role I take.

On Excal almost every coil PF is made by a blm who won't let any other blm or smn join, shit's mad annoying. fuckin hate need PTs only too because they're generally the same situation. I don't PF hardly ever but when I do I make it a greed with pick 2 and my shit fills fast.

Yup just this morning 2 or 3 t2 parties on Excal, N>G started by caster no other caster slots and none of them fill. They just sit there and annoy the shit out of me.

That's ridiculous. I tend to lock it to 2 healers, 2 casters at least one brd and then some mix of mnk/drg/brd. Tank obviously a solo slot. Why SE decided to put so much caster gear in one place, I don't know.

The best is when they lock it and act smug about it. I've seen a few T4s with the comment Need>Greed(no gear "reserved") started by a SMN who doesn't allow any other SMNs or BLMs in.
