FFXIV Random Complaint Thread: Look forward to it

Utilizing the aura mechanic more in general would be nice. It would be yet another thing they could do to incentivize people to stop stacking ranged-only or something. Maybe Monk's Inner Release could carry an aura that gives the lesser buff to everyone around them for the duration, etc. Mantra's range is dumb; aura that. Make rampart an aura (10% isn't huge).

Not really a complaint just an inquiry into the mind set of people. I know several people that do nothing but spam levi. I'm talking 5-6 hours a day. They rattle off numbers like, "Damn 500 kills and haven't won mirror drop".
What is the point? If they put that amount of time and effort into relic upgrade the levi weapon wouldn't matter.

Whenever I see a tank with Noct body and Animus weapon now, I assume the worst, and I'm usually correct.

I don't get it. Curtanimus is the best sword outside of High Allagan and the Noct body is the best tank body.

^ Oh that's definitely true. Unfortunately it doesn't make DF tanks any smarter. I dunno, Noct body just feels like the new Armor of Light. Of course I wear mine, I just glamor that ish. Can't stand looking at it anymore.

Personally, I loathe FATE farming. I cannot bring myself to farm ATMA. Leviathan, however, is easy, fun, and quick. (Dependent upon groups, of course.) I feel more accomplished farming Levi for an hour than farming FATEs for an hour.

Wanting to keep my WHM and PLD geared near the same, but only having so much Soldery to go around. i93 PLD vs i90 WHM, and my poor loldrg sitting at i86. At least it has full wyrm, and will look pretty if I ever get to use it again...

00001.dat is the opening CS, replace it with a 1 sec blank screen video file and the screen will just go black for a moment and the main menu will pop back up.

Idk anything about video editing but the person that found this out for people (believe it was from a reddit post that someone linked here) was nice enough to make the blank replacement video file for people to DL.

Wait, which "opening CS" are we talking about? The fresh install one, the new character one, or the one that plays via main menu with Bahamut? I tried replacing it with the file Yugl linked, and it did nothing to the last two. The Bahamut one is skippable anyways so I wouldn't imagine it's that.

Edit: nvm, it was the Bahamut one. But why would people think you can't skip that shit? <_<
