Tis true fates are dead again, just leveled a SMN and had to solo a ton of fates in between dungeons.
As some mentioned about crafting, i find it funny, how food prices went so high, but the cost to craft it has only gone lower...
4K+ Bouillabaisse (CP food for crafters), you can buy the mats and 1 button macro 100% hq guarantee the thing for a total cost of about 1.2K (that includes the crystals, in you already got the crystals a lot less).
If anything you'd think food prices would go down with the new crafting gear making it even easier to HQ.
The prices are pretty stupid, for the effort required to make the things, and the cost of the materials. I've made a few mil in the past week taking advantage of it cutting down prices on super insane overpriced stuff, especially since the things sell 2X+ faster at a lower price >.>
Another example would be pineapple juice, at one point on my server, they were 4K also, while 4 pineapples would cost you a total of 400-500g (sometimes less because sales were so dam slow), and the fire+water cluster about 1.1K. only about 3-4 sales per day total.
Now down to 1.8K ranges, entire page of sales, hundreds of juice sold per day doing about 250-300K/day
One of the reason why this upgrade system was poorly implented, on top of the stupid RNG. Hopefuly SE will realise it soon and change it if possible.
On another note, someone in my FL has 3 Atma weapons... She got all the required atmas during the 1st 2 weeks of the update. If I was one of these OF bad tongue I would say "Working as intended" but to me its clearly isn't.
I'm mostly envious of their inventory space to have 36 atma laying around.
Still easy to get atma's, as mentioned in the atma thread.. you ONLY need to participate in a fate, you don't need to win it (or even get gold).
The hard part.. yes the actual hard part, will be getting the myths. Groups are slowly dwindling on myth farm runs (I'd say most people will only do 1 animus and thats it) so no real reason for them to spam myth farm groups. Where as a week or 2 ago, you'd see shouts and several groups in PF for it, now you might see 1-2 groups and nonexistant shouts for runs...
Atma is the easiest soloable part (with very little effort) ;/
I was aiming for two books a week but with this week's outlook so far, I'm probably barely going to get one.
Random complaint instead of more Atma bitching:
Is it only possible to see other people's lots when the item actually drops?
I don't like being "that guy" rolling on everything for seals if someone actually needs it, but then I don't want shit to just drop to the ground either.
Also why can't I pass after I lot if I decide I don't want something?
I planned on farming mytho all night tonight and tomorrow until I went out since I'm on furlough tomorrow but some asshat was cutting down a tree in his yard and it fell on a power line and now half my apartment complex is out of power and of course mine is one of them. Currently on book 7, was hoping to finish this weekend. We'll see, if they can get it repaired tonight I'll be chillin
This pandemic insistence on "must have weapon equipped" in Leviathan greed parties. Ones where the mirror counts as your greed item. That makes so little sense that my brain hurts.
Though that probably stems from my hatred of "PEOPLE MUST NEVER EVER ACQUIRE A MIRROR UNLESS THEY ALREADY HAVE THE CORRESPONDING WEAPON" that... I don't even understand the logic behind.
Lost a piece of gear I need for gearing up an alternate job because I'm a dumbass didn't realize I lotted on the other piece that dropped and left after I heard the "Item get" sound but before I won the uncontested Need lot for it.
The logic flow is pretty simple. However, if they're saying you have to i guess, /seacom 1 type deal and the Mirror is their greedable, the logic from this actually makes no sense so there's that. but if its a freelot mirror situation, this is the logic for that.
1) Say theres 8 people in the party, 4 of them decide to lot mirror, 3 have the weapon 1 doesn't.
2) Person who doesn't lots it because they know how rare they are and "might" level that job/get that weapon.
3) Person who doesn't have it wins lot, other 3 who do go home empty handed
4) Person who doesn't have it never get its, and it sits in their inventory as a "Maybe someday" item, wasted.
Personally, I'd like to see the item go to someone whos going to make use of it than someone lotting on it cause its hard to get and they might get that weapon some day. Again, if its a "you have to /seacom to lot it" situation, the logic makes no sense as the person in question is usually going through the mindnumbing grind for the mirror for a purpose, not just to dick people over. (though there will be people who do it just cause they're bored and wanna dick people over lol)
This seems to happen a lot and i have to wonder why people are in such a hurry to leave the instance when its over they can't even read the log to make sure they got the item they want x.x;
shit sucks for you man, but dayum, I'd stay in an instance for 5 minutes with an afk dude waiting for the item to auto-drop to me if I needed it XD, not like I could browse the internet for 5 minutes while i wait.
