They don't delete names when they are banned. the "(Deleted)" is from the RMT deleting a character to make a new one

Regarding all the RMT spam tells: We need a blacklist with more than 200 names on it...mine has been full for months, and I keep checking it, to delete any names that SE has banned, which doesn't happen often now. Constantly having to take off names from the top of the list and add new ones. Sometimes getting three spams from different names within seconds of logging in. Shit is super annoying.

Would be better if SE...

1. Auto banned anyone blisted by over 50 people in X time frame
2. allow people to set a custom filter of their own to block people.

blocking words like ... handwork, buy, order, gift would block so many RMT tells...

they should limit the amount of tells that you can send on new characters and if you send like 50 of them in the span of 2 mins you get flagged for review

It's so easy to manipulate the economy in this game. I single handedly pushed up the prices of red materia on Excalibur by about 50% just trying to convert my gil to items before transferring the other day. The prices haven't come down either. And that was only 60% of my gil so prices will have to rise again when I shift the rest.

I kinda think the shitty transfer rules are partially to blame for prices rising so much as well as mass undercutting. I've been knocking 10k off prices of slower sellers without caring just to convert items back to gil on my new server simply because I can't be assed to relist 40 items every half hour due to people undercutting by 1 gil.

Kinda funny I'm looking at about 10mil profit from all that too.

Like... I just don't get it. Why are low level dungeons literally littered with these things? They ignore party chat, focus on a single mob while the rest pounds on the party, runs straight to the objectives, charge straight at the boss after a wipe before anyone else is back, etc. Basically acts exactly like a bot, but then fucking jumps around the party and does emotes, implying it's somebody actually playing.

This one in particular spammed Halone and only Halone for the entire dungeon. Never anything else for as long as we were in there, despite the group telling them what to do. Is there just an influx of shit tier players? Bots? Both? Do people jump into a dumpster, wear whatever stuck, and then troll the fuck out of low level groups for funsies? If it's a bot, why the fuck would you bot a low level dungeon?

Help me unravel the mystery science side of BG.

There's no tax for buying if you buy from a retainer while in their city. If someone is selling from Gridania, buying from Gridania will result in no tax but buying from the other two will.

Ah so that's how it works. I assumed it was based on GC because I always buy in Ul'dah and that's where my GC is. Man I must have spent like 500k on tax this past week due to not knowing that. I rarely buy stuff from the AH that costs enough to care about the tax to be honest.

I'm pretty sure the delivery fee caps at like... 5k (per purchase, not per item, for stackables), so you probably didn't spend that much even if you bought big-ticket items.

I just got a Bot/RMT trio in Toto-Rak. The GLD just ran up and to the wall after the first boss and kept trying to go through. The CNJ spammed medica and esuna'd themselves. And the BRD just alternated between straight and heavy shot.

Kinda reminds me of last week when I was in Aurum Vale and had a blm that only casted blizzard 3, then fire 3, and repeated the process over and over again, he said it was the best ever because it let him cast super fast and he never ran out of MP. Can't argue with that.

Being on Ragnarok as an NA player sucks balls. Never any of my FC on Mon-Fri when I get home from work. PF is always trash (like 3-8 searching and always Coil 1 shit). And fuck knows what servers are linked up with Ragna for DF but its awful on wait times.

I know I could transfer to an NA server but I used to be an EU player and all the people in the FC I have known for like 7-10+ years from XI. Plus I wouldn't even know where to start when looking into which server to transfer and finding a credible group.
