Agreed. I know I'm not the only one in this situation. My girlfriend doesn't even want to play until I can get her on Levi and who knows when that will be at this point. Can't really tell her to play on a different server when she's sitting directly next to me.

EDIT: The only option would be to get her in with the friends that were going to join us, but it wouldn't be the same. The only person she actually knows from that crew is one of my college roommates.

We got lucky that all of us were able to get on the same server by trying all day Saturday, we just couldn't log back on after that. I feel for people who can't get everyone on the same server that shit sucks.

Finally got to do the starter dungeons finally.. only once did another PT member us the /p function... I felt like they thought the other 3 members were NPC's

I was planning to follow the launch, and then decide if I should spend money on it even though I won't have a lot of time to play. Their launch cost them at least one box + subscription.

I don't really get why some chocobo porter routes are ok (Dragonhead > Fallgourd Float), while others just aren't options (Bentbranch > anything in South Shroud).

Also annoying is that aether camps can only be chocoported to by other aether camps. The Observatorium is closer to Fallgourd than Dragonhead, but I gotta port back to Dragonhead if I want to port to Fallgourd. Why the fuck.

So i'm having problems with 1 character Error 9000. GF and I playing at same time and shes getting constant Error 9000 while I never get it... even happened when I was playing both on the same pc. any one else have this problem?

Not mine, but I got in after about 40 minutes using this with AutoHotKey. It'll skip cancel out the queue, but they don't seem to be working anyways.

Pretty sure you're missing a camp between Bentbranch and South Shroud. I'm in Limsa right now but I went to South Shroud from Grid in P2.

They worked for me on a few separate occasions yesterday. When I first logged on I got queued after some spamming. Then on 2 separate occasions I DC'd yesterday. Both times I was able to get in after 15-20 minutes on queue.

I was a bit annoyed though bc both DC's I had were at the same spot in Halatali: when we arrived at the dragon mini-boss that electrocutes the water on the ground floor.

It seems that the NA characters aren't always being shown. Mine, and several others, only have a JP character they created during the NA down time.

Has anyone picked up a ps3 copy yet?

Can't figure out how to register this game, tells me to go into the mog station to register it but when I do, it tells me to redeem a code on the PSN or purchase the game from the psn

So is this acting as the Random Question thread now? Or am I being particularly stupid and missing something?

Either way, this question is kind of more towards the complaint side!

Someone mentioned that problem of cutscenes not displaying properly. Basically, the top half of the cutscene is simply not there. I am having this problem. It was mentioned in another thread a while ago that this is due to some Windows updates not being up to date (I am on Windows XP...). The person (I can't remember who) mentioned there was a specific update to fix this, but could not remember what it was called. I have tried searching around, looking for updates, but I'm not very good when it comes to these things. My automatic windows updates are all up to date, and I can't seem to find any other info via google.

So does anyone know what to do about this?

Considering I can play fine but gf gets constant error 9000 and the servers are still full anytime between midnight and 10 am... so yes

EU here, logging in is a minor annoyance at worst today and yesterday. I have to spam login for 10 times or so, but it does let me in after that. No errors.

If there was supposed to be a massive amount of new players playing, I'm not seeing any difference.
