Titan HM needs to be taken off Duty Roulette Trials...

It just needs to start with the 50% echo in df. 9 times out of 10 a healer can't dodge. And when you have new people and dead healers your not going to win lol.

I wish I could go anything but tank... But that's the only shit that ever gets instant queue with the extra Gil.

And the last week has been all titan outside one ifirt

I've seen it before in games where 90% of the game is faceroll easy and the remaining 10% is a huge difficulty spike, and it invariably results in what we're seeing in this game: People do that easy 90%, then flail around and never accomplish much else because they've never learned how to handle the increased difficulty and they aren't inclined to start learning at that point.

I mean, look at the number of DRGs who don't keep Heavy Thrust up or do Chaos combo, the number of BLMs that do things like Fire 3 Flare Transpose repeat on single targets, the number of WHMs who just go 11111111, etc. Absolutely no excuse for that, but like you said, it's too late to make people learn if they haven't already.

I feel like this whole game is fairly easy lol...t9 beaten in what, a couple weeks or so, once BG figured stuff out...t5 beaten in a few weeks (past the earliest feasible point of being lvl 50 and having like i75~i80 gear), lowby dungeons are just as hard for shitty players as high level stuff IMO, but it's easier for 2-3 decent players to carry the shitty ones in low level stuff...so stop carrying people, or educate them, simple as that. I've done a few low dungeons for books where another person was there for a book and was afk all the damn time, boot, you want that animus you better wake up...same with actual newby's, except i have more patience to teach in those instances(i have 2 kids and another otw...I have loads of patience). But if people are consistently ignoring advice, etc. I will vote kick, or leave and eat the penalty timer if others aren't willing to kick (which has never happened, when I votekick, others will as well because I usually don't until the other has proven themselves an utter and complete waste of time).

tl;dr: if you don't want to play with bad's, do something about it, one way or another.

I can't agree more. First of all i'm polite and patient, but now it starts to get on my nerves. I've just wasted 60 mins on Haukke HM, yes HAUKKE HM! That because of a newbie dps and healer.
When I see some training groups, when i'm not busy I join them and try to help people progressing. But what irks me the most is when some unexperienced ppl are sneaking in a farming or killing group. I speak for myself but if I didn't practice with my fc previously, the idea of joining a farming or killing group will never cross my mind.
So what's wrong with those sneaky people?

Figured it would be easy as cake... Never made it to super bombs even with 25% echo and 5 dps.

Either I lag a lot, or instants don't work on mobs that run right past you because they run out of your sight when the supposedly instant-use skill goes off.

In other words, fuck this game's line-of-sight and skill-reliability in general, especially on Cleric's sticking.

People don't want to learn and expect to get carried for a lot of reasons which fault is holded by the mentality really.

Some people do really want to learn, but when they do there is alway 1-3 asshole(s) to ragequit because they couldn't read the PF message or because they expected a free carry.

This come back to what I said above, most of the time the excuse you get is "I am sorry I have no time for this.." /ragequit, or "why should I teach someone for hours when I myself spent hour to learn & master this fight.."

No one want to make an effort, either people want a carry or they have no time to give 30 mins, but will wait 2 tank for 2h with a "1 fail = kick" PF search comment..

My complain of the day: I spent my whole fucking afternoon in Titan EX with 2 Friends, will you believe it if I tell you that we did not beat it once.

Betwin the PLDs who let me get up to 5 stacks & ragequit when I tell them to provoke after 2, or all kind of lolDRG, lolMNK & I pass who can not dodge a plume/Landslide...

Only good thing that happened in all this mess is a new friendship with a WHM who liked us & sticked with us the whole time, she seems damn good too.

Also lots of actions not registering or cancelled after .5s. So I guess lag

Lol. NA backwater servers? Been one shotting Titan in roulette since 2.2, and the two times moogle has come up it's been a cakewalk. After EVERY roulette being Gilgamesh right after the patch, it's quite nice to get Titan or Moogle.

I wish you could set your loot 'Need' via DF. It's fucking depressing having to go BLM to have a chance at gearing it up. I don't mind playing the job but I hate feeling gimp (It's like i82 but under acc cap for Coil). I'd much rather go PLD or BRD and forfeit my 'Need' roll on their loot.

And yeah I know, that's what PF is for. It just sucks in my timezone.

A few weeks since patch and overworld on Excalibur is feeling like a dead zone. Soloing FATES for Atma does not a fun login make. What the hell~

Lol. NA backwater servers? Been one shotting Titan in roulette since 2.2, and the two times moogle has come up it's been a cakewalk. After EVERY roulette being Gilgamesh right after the patch, it's quite nice to get Titan or Moogle.

I think I've only beaten Mog via trial roulette once. Usually it's the tank that goes "I'm new to this!" and the other tank leaves. Titan has been better, but quite a few wins have only had like half the party still alive by the end. I always get Ifrit or Hydra anyways and those get one shotted easy enough.

t8 was up few hours before I was headed to work. Put in about 40 mins on blm, noticed smn was the lowest dps to the other 4 dps. I was floating around 1-2. Asked if it was ok to jump out and change smn, was curious why other smn was doing so poorly and wanted to see what I could hit. They decided to rep me and not let me attempt once we exited since I had an hour left D: dunno how the rest of their run went would need kirby's input. I tried my best to call out moves for them too of incoming mechanics but sounded like they needed the voice to tell them what to do/prep for.
